Both of my boys STILL enjoy the Sigma Six figures. They are bathtub compatible, play well outside and most of all are DURABLE! We haven't managed to polish off a single one several years into playing whereas the 25th line has had several casualites and the Star Wars toys (his favorites) suffer missing hands and broken pieces fairly regularly.
I think the toy line as a whole had more life and potential in it, and would have survived if the 2.5" line had been scaled to 3 3/4". We have season 1 on dvd from the con last year and they are watching it with all the love a 3 and 6 year old can muster! No match for Thomas the Tank Engine for the former and Star Wars: Clone Wars for the latter of course-but it IS preferred over the newer shows! |

I still have my Sigma Joes. I agree with SPC Airborne that they shoulda kept the Sigma line going instead of releasing the awful looking 12" line. >bleh!<
Combat Heroes and Mighty Muggs suck compared to Sigma, too. The play-ability and fun-factor of the 8" line is sorely missed. I don't miss the $14.99 price tags or the retarded amount of packaging and twist-ties, though! |

I wish they would at least release season 2 on DVD.

[QUOTE=ultraaaaaCOMBO;581131]In terms of still collecting... once you get started, it's tough to stop searching until you have every one... then there's troop building (IG's, CobraFly's, BATs/Sky BATs, etc.). And then you research the unreleased ones like Zanzibar...
Toy News International - Daily Action Figures Toy News, Reviews and Discussions In retrospect, [QUOTE]>snipped< Now why did you have to go and do that??!?? I thought I would never see cooler sets in the 8 inch Joes, and now I can only dream about those!?!! Scarlett??? AT Shark's Surprise??? A RHINO??? So much potential!!! HASBRO, if you read this forum, please produce those protos! I have only just started S6 and Commando 8 inch and 2.5 figs, and I am a Joe fanatic from the '60's! I had almost every 3 3/4 fig, but sold most and gave up. I remember seeing the S6 line and not paying attention thanks to Halo toys. Now I want them and they are all but gone. I am such a fool! No price is too high for me, so watch out fellow eBayers! |

Anyone interested in jumpstarting a collection, click below my avatar, check out my ebay listing. They're LOTS of fun with a built-in coolness factor since they are so different--I just don't have the space for them anymore.

I am still collecting S6. I have every figure in package except for 6 of them. I also have many of the variations and about 20 carded Sky Bats.
