Having recently revisited Sigma 6 toys for the first time in years, I am STUNNED at the strength of the joints; all my figures are six or seven years old with knee and elbow joints that have been boiled and popped a billion times, and yet I swear it's sometimes all I can do to bend a figure's knee to pose it. It's insane!
I photographed Adventure Team Recondo and one of my weird Kitbashes about an hour ago, and I swear I thought I was gonna break their legs, they're so sturdy. |

With a very few exceptions, I can't stand Sigma 6 However there does seem to be a lot of love for the line left. With the waning desire for the 12"-ers, maybe the Club could turn their attention to cranking out more of this line instead. It may be worth filling their inboxes with suggestions from those who want to see more...

That sums it up for me as well, but in my case it was the ROCC that I picked up. Personally I hated the aesthetic and the scale. It was like Extreme 2.0 to me.

The only 4 cool items that came out of that line were the RHINO, the ROCC, the Dragonhawk and the cartoon.

S6 was such an incredible line. It allowed for modular loadouts and great detail through the larger format. One of the best features were the peg holes to attach things like Centurions. Like the OP, I really wish they would have continued the line and even expanded across other Hasbro properties (especially Star Wars). I'm eagerly awaiting the day when my son wants to play with them so I can crack open the storage bin and let him go to town with them.

Sigma 6 is for people that enjoy toys. You don't have to worry about breaking anything, they offer soft goods(look how much SS charges for them) and the ports add alot of play features.
Like Monte said,i've boiled these things so many times and yet, they still hold up just like the first day they were opened. There will NEVER be a better built, more inventive line of Joe toys. Most joe fans weren't ready for that. I just hate the Club based the fanbase off of that damn Red ninja.Short fuze,Colton,wet-suit,baronness..... If you feed the trolls, they will never go away.He is just mad we have better toys. |

I wonder if any of these people (mostly kids I'm guessing) who chime in with "sigma sux" every bought/played/enjoyed any of the classic action figures from the 70s like Action Jackson and the other Mego figures, LJN's SWAT figures, Big Jim or even the original GI JOE (yes I know those were 12" figures). I loved those figures as a kid and the Sigma 6 8" figures were just those kinds of figures done even better (more sturdy and cooler looking).
