I have tried the site search on this but, still no answer for me. Can someone tell me if the sigma 6 line is over? Also, does this mean that there are no more 8" figures in the works, or more to come? (as in the commando line, or "kung fu grip")
Thanks Anubus

The 8" scale is considered part of Hasbro's portfolio of products. I believe this basically means they're keeping it with the possibility to release some others later, but for the time being I think they have it on hiatus.
In Round 3 of the Q&A they said it'll continue through 2007 but they didn't say anything about 2008 |

Didn't we say the 3 &3/4 line was dead a few years ago? I believe Hasbro will bring Sigma Six back, and looking at the prototypes that were shown a few months ago I really hope Hasbro goes forward with both the 3&3/4 line and the sigma 6 line (both small figures and 8 inch figures). but with the price of oil and all right now I guess the price and process isn't realistic for the 8 inch line, Here's hoping that with the release of the upcoming movie, we do indeed get a whole lot of joe!

The Sigma Six branding ended earlier this year with the Shipwreck Soldier assortment.
As of RIGHT NOW, the 8" assortment of figures and vehicles are done at retail. Stores will continue to carry the line through Christmas (provided they can still get product), but expect to see extensive 8" clearances come after Christmas. The line has done well enough that Hasbro considers it part of their "portfolio" and we will likely see a revival at some point. Personally, I'd not be at all surprised if Adventure Team got revived next year, the sets did amazingly well here last fall, so much so we can't get anymore!

Just some info on the AT packs, the animals are from Action Man (the tiger, the Shark, and the Gator). I think Hasbro should have some Sigma 6 stuff added to Master Collector, I mean like the figure they did for the con that was in blue, I'd like to see MC give us some Sigma con stuff along with the 3-3/4 figures and 12 inch That would really be awesome, you know it would be at least one way to finally get those prototypes we saw.
