Never liked Kamakura. The blue version was pretty cool, though.
Tunnel Rat is my favorite Soldier-class figure of the series, but that's after adding cloth pants to him. |

Love seeing all the great Sigma pics going up, keep em coming!

been a while since i last post here but man, seeing this thread makes me want to ask myself why did i skip sigma 6. it makes me want to scratch that (diorama posing pic) itch again. i love the poseability, accessories and unique look of the toy, its just the scale (dont want to jump to a new scale for my collection). seeing that 5 pose like that makes me really want to jump to this sigma 6 quagmire (and let me sink happily ever after).
I've been pretty selective in my collecting, and am by no means collecting them all--in fact, I now have most of the ones I wanted. Perhaps my favorite right now is Recondo (though I am missing most of his awesome accessories):

I would say that over the years I may have grabbed a few off the shelves , probably on clearance . I think the first Sigma 6 figure my son got as a gift was Airglide Kamakura and that got me hooked. I had seen them at the store and always passed on grabbing any of them for all the same reasons most people have. Once in hand tho , I was hooked. And then retro collected the entire line and then some times 100.
Next up is Ninja BAT ! |

That figure always was a bit of a mess, heh-heh. He certainly does look cool, though.

He not in horrible shape , mostly paint rub on the top of the head. Accessories all pretty good, missing a fin. The ACV's slot for the torpedo launcher or switchfire was oddly cracked.
Anyhow, swapped it out , clean figure , new fin. here ya go . If I had a gripe about this line it would easily be the Redundancy of Duke , Snake Eyes , and Storm Shadow. I mean , this figure is great but it couldve been a whole new character instead of another Duke. The JoeVerse has plenty characters to choose from , although I suppose they were limited to the Sigma 6 cannon they were following. Cant say I was ever a fan of the cartoon. Anyhow i digress , because that concludes Wave 1 from 2005 ! Here is all of Wave 1 2005 Up next is the start of Wave 1 2006 Commandos with Long Range ! |

So I forgot the fact that the Hovercycles and Ninja Showdown set were also part of 2005. So I'll be doing those all next before getting to 2006.

that wave 1 group was amazing...Heavy Duty and Spirit are both great sculpts and have ultra cool accessories.. both the gatling gun and bow are impressive pieces and I have acquired multiples of each. Stormy and Snake-Eyes are right up there as well!

HOVERCYCLES ! These could be the best toy Hasbro put out for this line. For kids anyhow ! I dont even know where the 2 bikes the boys had are but I remember clearly they were in no good condition so I didnt even bother looking for them. I had a couple stored away.
So As bad condition as the bikes from the collection are , surprising enough the accessories were almost all there and in pretty good shape. So I accidentally Deleted the pics of the two bikes side by side but theres one coming up with all of 2005. On to Ninja Showdown My goodness. The Yellowing ! oh The Yellowing ! Cheap plastic? Bad factory? who knows. As You can see in this bouquet of Storm Shadows I had plenty to choose from but all of them suffer from this yellowing effect seen alot in common release Storm Shadow v1 and Showdown SS as well. Probably others but these stand out. Anyhow I picked one with minimal signs of it. Bit trickier to Display all the accessories on these two but I found a way. and NOW heres the Hovercycles with the rest of 2005 Sigma 6 . Now onto 2006 , Wave 1 , and Long Range . |
