Im going to Start wave 4 2006 With the Storm Shadow. I just want to prepare everyone who has ever owned this figure. He comes with a ton of gear , as per the norm of the Commando Line. But I discovered something simple, subtle, and amazing that with a little play , but not one extra piece of anything , SS can hold all of his gear, in fact can even do it with one hand free.

I could probably thread the chain through the handle openings on the suction cups and then he could hold all of his gear on his body without holding any of it in his hands. Ninja style.

I didnt get as many today as I hoped. So instead of waiting for the whole group to be done ill post as I go.
Heres Arctic Snake Eyes, with all 3 Timbers. I honestly believe the toy designers could have made a line just for articulated animals. Just fantastic. |

Lets kick off the weekend with the rest of 2006 Wave 4 !
First up is Battlefield General Cobra Commander Red Cape, Silver Cape . Who cares but that flaming axe and gauntlet and Helmet!? This version of CC to me was the perfect example of a new style that payed homage to the old style, tugging at nostalgia and shining in the New all at the same time. (i didnt realize i took a bad pic of him on my desk so I took a close up on the shelf) The Same again goes for ZARTAN . Honestly this figure broke the plain of GI JOE toy and quickly became a sought of action figure for any action figure lover. My own selling experiences included many 1 figure inquiries for this guy to people who had no interest in GI JOE at all, but had seen reviews or pictures of this and had to have him. Some even paying outrageous shipping costs for international. And why not? This figure is amazing. And last and undoubtedly not the least is Lt Stone / Cobra Officer. Why do I consider this a 2 figure deal? Well aside from the obvious, This was the ultimate S6 Troop Builder. Yes sure, the BATS came first but being able to build up a Cobra Trooper army? That was something else. So here I have 2 figures but did not use any accessory twice. And you get a comeplete LT Stone , as well as a complete Cobra Officer. And here they are all together ! Wave 4 2006 ! |
