The Toy Fair stuff is phenomenal.
Still dry out here. Should've bought some Nano Vipers around Christmas when the pegs were full, people seem to still be interested in some of the more HTF things. Nobody seems like they're replenishing anything, I guess that's a wise strategy for Hasbro to give it a break for awhile. Swung by Lynnhaven TRU today, the selection is kind of appalling. Lots of CG 5 packs - personal sore spot with me - they over-produced those guys! The online TRU True Heroes Black Hawk looks kinda interesting: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=3147749 Saw some newer looking Iron Man stuff, but wasn't emblazoned with "Iron Man 2" or anything. Kohl's on P.A. didn't have any Joes... Going to start eyeballing some vintage MOC stuff, know any good retailers? Everything on Ebay is about $1K, no way will I spend that until I win the lottery. Last time I checked Lynnhaven Walmart/Princesse Anne, they had 1 Arctic Threat Storm Shadow. The Military Highway/Lynnhaven TRU's are stocking up pretty well on the Arctic Threat Doc/Shipwrecks. Don't know if I will buy them, I've passed on them so far. |

Haven't posted in a while, of course not seen much that was new.
Went to Target in Charlottesville, was mainly looking for a discounted RHINO. Picked it up for $25, they had about 10 on an endcap, with the unsold ones on the shelf in the GI Joe section still there. Several SNAKE armor exclusives. Single card figures had the price drop, but nothing I wanted. Walmart was the same stuff as always, no more two packs or battle stations. In the clearance aisle there were a metric ton of the $11 ninja battles. Why didn't they order the battle stations as heavily as the Ninja Battles exclusive? Hell that should have been part of the assortment. Two figures plus a little playset. Did find the half of DCUC 12 that I didn't already have(Spectre, Dr Midnight, Eclipso), which was a nice surprise. New MU Secret Wars two packs were there, was going to get the Mr Fantastic/Ultron but forgot once I saw the DCUC. TRU I went to earlier in the week, and they had reset the action figure aisles. ROC actually had MORE pegs than before, but they just spread out the figures they had already had. Not sure the motivation for increasing the number of pegs, they already are up to date. They've had the $6.99 price for a couple of weeks, considered getting a second Arctic Doc for his accessories, but put it off. |

Thanks, Shin, I checked out his site. Someday, I might look for that '82 carded Grunt I got outbid on, don't know why I got so hypnotized by it.
757 Kempsville T.J. Maxx had about a dozen 12" Joes for $9.99 each. Dusty, Bazooka, Cobra Trooper, Storm Shadow. Also had 3-3/4" Croc Master, TF Duke, and Gung-Ho vs. Up armored C.C. (forgot what they called that armor). |

Greenbriar Target had 2 Past and Present Rockslide sets left. Also some wave 2 deluxe figures, like Storm Shadow + motorcycle.

Military Highway TRU has 1 Arctic Threat Storm Shadow and 1 City Strike Snake Eyes. Also a couple of Doctors, Red Fang Ninjas, Night Adders, Sting Raiders, and Arctic Threat Docs/Shipwrecks.

Finally picked up my Sting raider from TRU in Manassas. I think I ran into a scalper while I was there. There were three he picked up the two while after I set the one I was looking at down to pick up an Ice Dagger to look at, and when I picked up the last Raider, he said "You going to buy that." I said Yes and went on about my business. Hope it wasn't a fellow Tanker.

For those of you looking for Iron Man 2 stuff, Target has a BUNCH of wave 1. Meanwhile, Battlefield Walmart has a bunch of wave 1 AND 2!
They had at least 5 comic War Machines and 2 movie War Machines on the pegs! |

Yeah, I saw a bunch at my Walmart as well. Even though I'm not a huge fan, I was seriously considering buying a movie War Machine (a cooler version than the comic one IMO). Unfortunately, out of the 4-5 they had, not a single one had his eye slots properly painted. Did they assign the Indiana Jones team to detail these things or what?

Been finding the rip attack vehicles at Target for 12.99, other than that nothing much has changed or been restocked anywhere
