So how many of you are going to get the complete series on the white bodered cards? I just cant afford it...Only the new releases for me and doubes of the figs I really like to treat myself once in a while. TRU in tucson still has jack, Target was bare on Irvington, and Walmart still had tons of wave 9 minus the BATS...sucky.

The only revisions I buy are to be opened up, for my loose collection. If a figure was made on a 25th card, then I have it on a MOC 25th card, if it came out only on the white card (like the BAT), then I have it on a MOC White Card. I don't need or want to have the figures MOC on a 25th and a White Card, its pointless to me, the figure is the same just a diff card.

I used to buy one of each (More for Army Builders), now it's only figures I give a damn about, and the army building has been scaled back. Friggn Hasbro almost doubling the price in a little over a year.

The only white card re-release figure I bought was Tiger Force Flint since I missed it the first time around.

TFF was always a white card.
I posted a relative post and created another thread on the matter w/ no bites. We're probably using the wrong terminology when we say "revisions." "Re-issue" is probably a better term because we're referring to the ones that originally had the 25th Anniversary logo at the top but now have the "as seen in the comic/cartoon" logo. Well, at least, that's what I'm referring to. I don't have my list on me, but I think it was around W7 that they ditched the 25th logo. So figures from that point forward are exactly the same as the ones originally released. Those ones that are different (the "re-issue" sans 25th logo) are the ones I am collecting. |
