THANKS, n3rf! I went to the Chandler Target and they only had the Conquest so moved on to Ocotillo and they had both - I picked up the Rattler over there.

oh and by the way, I found re-issues of Snake Eyes (wave 5), blade Destro, Crimson Guard and Spirit all over Walmarts.

Well after work today i saw all the posts here and checked target in stock /out of stock links and it said "available" for both at Ray & 48th target. found only conquest. Asked a nice guy and said no more in back. He did not know you could check availability online. He sent me to customer service where an nice woman looked on system to try and find rattler, but since both have same # it was a puzzle. She & a nice older gent called 2 stores that had 3 of the assortment in stock. They made sure that they made it clear to other stores that 2 different items have the same DCPI. They made them aware that i needed the "blue rattler". Well the greatland in chandler mall had 1. They held it and 15 minutes later i had a complete set of 2.

This reaffirms my faith in target and my strong satisfaction with ray road one =)


Now i can save gas for the next few weeks till ne stiff shows =)

well I picked up one of each Conquest Rattler today at the surprise Target, by the looks of things it was the only set they had, there was a sticker on the price bar on the shelf that read 09/20, maybe that is when they will get more.

This was my 1st "keeper" blue rattler

24 years ago i bought one that was defective at a kb. Wild weasel had 2 left hands and its wings were warped and did not assemble at all. I had to return it and never saw one again. Now 24 years later i have one =)

Yesterday I saw a revisionm Destro IG and Grimson Guard at WMat 15th and Bethany. The cards were all bents but if any one is interested in them they are hidden behind the wwe spring action rings which have been there since last fall.
From a previous post it looks like I am looking for the snake eyes, spirit, destro IG and crimson guard in the revision on unbent cards.

Speaking of bent cards I talked with a guy at the toy show that told me there is a card bender on the far east side around the Superstition Springs mall area. Any one else running into this?

YES!!!!!, I have seen it multiple times here. I was able to "score" a bent card (not horrible, but not mint) 25th Bludd. Doc, I pmd you, but I've since come across camo storm shadow, but still need your carded one if you are still selling.

Doc, BHD would be me. It's been over two weeks since I've heard anything back from you.

As for the card bender, I'm still not convinced he's any more a real thing than Nessie and Harry (of Harry and the Hendersons). I'm not saying it doesn't happen and certainly they're fragile enough to easily cave in a bubble or dog ear a corner, but the idea that there's "this guy" running around folding them in half...and he's only really discouraging the closet freaks (like myself). The regular freaks are still buying them up.

Is anybody out there even collecting the re-issues? I'd like to get a feel for who's all out there. If you missed MB the first time around and you're opening him to display, I wouldn't count you as a re-issue collector. I'm talking the neurotic completest (like myself).

Damn, if ebay was around, no doubt you could have found a buyer who'd end up paying for your college.

I know exactly what you mean, though. During a good chunk of my Joe collecting days, my parents were stationed in Korea. One toy store to service all us brats. Everything was a year after U.S. release. We didn't even have commercials. Instead, we had masked terrorists jumping out of the back of Toyotas w/ Uzis and warnings about suspicious mail.

Snake Eyes and Timber was my first "FINALLY!" of this line. "Swamp Squad Zartan" will be the closest to my holy grail of the Chameleon. Sadly, a Ferret will probably remain only a dream.
