When I read that yesterday, I thought you were full of it. LOL

But today, I walked into a magical Walmart and found the pegs overflowing with wave 9. Eight freaking cases!!!!! I got all the BATs, 2 Snow Serpents and 2 Black Ninjas. My wave 9 army building is now complete. Time to cancel those preorders.
Anyone willing to drive out west, all of those figs are there as of 9:30am.

Stopped at two Walmarts by me and saw a total of 6 complete cases. 2 @ Hunt and 4 @ Ellsworth. I picked up the BATS and Ninja-Kus. The one on Hunt was the first one I went to. Seeing that ppl here were in need of their first Snow Serpent, I stashed the two I saw. PM if you need one and want to know where.

I usually pick up extras just in case somebody here needs them...this has left me w/ a lot of extra crap I don't want/need, but I won't mind if I have to keep these.

The lady at the register @ Hunt said somebody was there earlier this buying a lot of GI Joes.

Through various Walmart's I managed 3 BATS and 3 Snow Serpents. That'll do me unless my planned dioramas require more.

the walmart at Arizona/202 must be a cave since there were BATS everywhere... ok sorry for the lame joke.... but there must have been 10 bats/ss over there as of 3pm today. I picked up 2 each of the bats and snow serpents. There were also 3 sets of the vehicles. I picked up 1 t-bubble. 2 more left.

I stashed the two BATs at the Elliot and Priest Wal-Mart yesterday, picked them up today. There were two sets of bent wave 9 yesterday, today, one Black Ninja, and the rest were Wild Bill and Torpedo.

Shin, I am still amazed that you were able to find those vehicles at the WM on Power/Ray. I was there yesterday and they had a memo out in open. After reading this and the layout papers for the whole aisle, it doesn't look like Joes will be a staple in that store any time soon.

Paraphrasing, it said that they'll be putting their fall toys out 10 days earlier w/ the exception of Clone Wars toys (because they have a strict street date). Batman, Iron Man, Hulk, and Badukan (or whatever the hell it is) will be the big movers this year and are taking up the entire row (they have a very small action figure area) where any joes might be placed because "the movies being released in theatres and on DVD will make these hot movers."

I finally got a bat & snow serpent today. There was 1 case worth at ray & 48th target.

Next stop has the mother load. Target on Mcclintock & Baseline had 4 cases worth of the wave. Bought 2 bats and finally Ninja ku!

Left 99% of stuff on pegs there.

I think it was a mistake that they got them. Who ever created the layout for that Toy Department was retarded and on crack at the same time. What a waste of space!!!

Whoever wrote that memo is an idiot and has no idea what really sells.

Went to Ray & 48th Target in awatukee at 10 after 8 this morning. Laughed at star wars scalpers there. walked into aisle and got all three new comic packs!


Iron Grenadier/Destro(variant black helmet Destro), Tripwire/Cobra Commander, & Nemesis Enforcer/Falcon. Left gold head destro and one of each on pegs because too many joes lately. im broke =)
