Yeah, we ordered up some proper June weather for you today... Onehundredelevety degrees, WOOO!1!!
Other potential places to check for Joes would be Fry's Marketplace toy section, Dollar General and of course the corner drug stores, aka: CVS and Walgreens but those are a crap shoot. I've given up all hope at Walmart and Target which is good because it saves me precious gas money. You might want to check out the 50th preorders up on BBTS (Big Bad Toy Store) because they are only slightly over what the retail pricing will be at TRU but when you add in gas and tax, it's almost the same (minus shipping, of course). |

I stopped by the TRU on 3rd & Bell & it seems most of the TRU are peg-heated w/Rockblocks, Cyber Ninjas, Green Firefly, few Dark Ninjas, & the unwanted Storm Shadow.....but the NV's are long gone..it's a damn shame..to date I've not seen one yet....the Joe/TF Specialty Store on Indian School Rd had them but I'm not paying $34 for a NV...that was my first time ever stepping foot in that TRU I shop mostly on the east side so I was actually surprised they had toyz.....even the Spidey legends had an Spidergirl & Toxin on the shelf, not to mention the 2 1/2 tall Godzilla, damn that things big I almost had to free.....flee....I got lucky & snagged up a MP Grimlock at that store so good on them for having stock....I even stopped at the TRU on the 10 & Litchfield area...they didn't have much either, seems most of the TRU didn't even have the New Mattel 4" figs in either or the Marvel Infinte 4" either....the Tuesday morning near Dysart & the 10 had 4 Joe figs.....2x CC, 1x Ult. Stormy & Budo...I left those & picked up an Adventure time fig, the east side TM's were picked over for Joe figs meaning they had nada on the pegs....good luck guys, I'm gonna see if I can score a NV at Comiccon on Saturday for less than $20 wish me luck
Lastly, the speciality store off Indian school is run by a cool dude named Grey, I bought a few things when I moved here last year but generally he is super pricey, he's basically an eBay store with no shipping if you see him in person but it's fun to look at. |

Anyone going to comiccon? I am going tonight as I have my two year old daughter during the daytime. Wife is incharge of her tonight(Thursday).
Grey is doing like 4 panels for GI Joe at the convention, he has them posted on the facebook page.

Well I went to Con on Saturday & saw Adam West & Co. at the panel discussion, I had to budget the money I had for Toyz, but of course, so no Photo-ops or Signatures for me...I spotted One Night Viper at a booth for $50!....left that, cause I gotta a buddy of mine & I'm trading him a 6" SW Stormtrooper for an NV & I pre-ordered the 50th ann 2 pack off of BBTS for the helluva it....I know Grey too, not well but we've done business, he's cool & I've gotten a few deals from him. I don't expect him to give away his merch either so I understand the prices....they still got my money on Saturday though I snagged up Zombie Hulk finally! & I had limited time so I wasn't able to dig through all the stuff, some booths were reasonable & some were crazy..I wanted to pick up some more Marvel Universe figs but I just couldn't plunk down what dudes were asking for them, I did see an Marvel Legends Red Giant Man but the guy wanted a firm $100 for him so I left him...I spotted a lot of vintage joe stuff but I was priced out cause I wanted to buy some Tshirts & other items + eat some food so I came away w/a few things but not like 2 years ago....I picked up a TerrorDrome back then & the price was comparable to the playset....I shake my head when I see a fig that people are finding at 5 Below for 5 bux going for $50...man I wish I was super wealthy I coulda dropped some massive cash building the perfect man-cave...

Congrats man, I'm glad you were able to secure one...I quit looking cause I only wanted one & I'm sure it'll be bitch now to find one anyway....it was even hard to find MP Acidstorm after while....I didn't want him but even that fig was hard to come by....but lo & behold there's plenty available on the 2ndary market...I just don't care for the way TRU jacks up the price for these badboys, I know the initial price was $60 but I paid $80 for mine...that's the TRU way

Hey guys I have a quick question for everyone in AZ. Have any of you dealt with GI JOE Junkyard before? I am looking to sell about 150 vintage Joes with card backs to him and thought maybe I should get some feedback on him from the community. Seems like a straight forward operation.

If you are coming up to Phoenix I would deal with GI Joe Vs Transformers at the Phoenix Collectors Marketplace
