TRU @ Superstition had vehicles (1 Hiss and 2 Chariots). It's a good time if you're looking for any TRU exclusives.

Across the street @ Target, they had a case of W2. There was a guy there who picked up a Beachhead...wondered if it was any of you. Had his kid w/ him, so I didn't engage in conversation.

Krypton, I saw that Falcon @ Walmart. $150?! No kid I ever grew up w/ would ever get that as a present. Now, if they came out w/ an AT-AT...that's one of those toys that I never got as a kid. Ferret and Zartan w/ Chameleon would be the other two big toys I never got but always wanted.

Is it just me or has Wave 9 not really hit the Valley of the Sun full force yet? Wave 8's were everywhere initially, and now the pegs are littered with Viper's, Wild Bill's, and the occasional Snake Eyes. Whever I go (and that's a lot of WM's and Target's folks) I seem to be just missing Wave 9. I'll find the remnants that some lucky fan or scalper has left behind for the plebians, but still no BAT or Snow Serpent- the only two left I'm really that excited for. I'll get Hawk eventually, but I'm in no huge hurry to get him. Lucked upon BBQ and Bazooka several weeks back, and picked up Vamp and Clutch at the TRU at Superstition yesterday, but again, still waiting for BAT ans Snow Serpent to surface.

I think it is because of the characters. To me, this is one of the better waves to come out all around. I also believe the same with the vehicles with the exception of capeless serpentor.

I found them the first weekend they were out and haven't found any since.

It seemed like that first weekend they hit, they hit EVEYWHERE and were wiped out. I first found them at Wal-Mart and then saw a full wave 2 days later at Target. I was surprised because Target never has crap. As for your luck with BATS and SSs, it doesn't help that these are they are the best in terms of quality of any of the Cobra army builders to date. I was only going to get about 5 of each, but I ended up liking them so much that I may get more (if I ever see them again).

Got duke & Red star comic pack at walmart at Arizona ave (county club) & Baseline today. They had the full wave of comic packs there.
