I wouldnt be suprised...they got the single carded (VvV?) stuff in for like 2 bucks a fig I think...Frys is chock full of vehicles and 5 packs...wouldn't be suprised to see stuff land there....
Havent found much lately to post about, but I'm sure there isn't anything really post-worthy as of late...

I saw the Hall of Heroes Joes at Walmart (Arizona & 202) for $24.99... visited a couple of Big Lots but no Joes in sight.

A piece?!?! Or were they packaged together in some way?

$24.99 a piece. Only saw Flint, Storm Shadow and Crimson Guard. I was surprised since I thought they were only internet exclusives. I guess it didn't sell as they wanted them to.

Great strategy...didn't sell for 12/15 whatever they were, now lets sell them for 25...

I'll give 10-1 that they were bought on Walmart.com and then returned.

So yesterday I went out hunting and scored some roc figures at Bell and Grand Ave Target. I took the bar code from cobra commander and my reciept to every other target from arrowhead through pv down to central phoenix and they all said the same thing... they will be putting them out on Sunday morning and won't sell them to me earlier. I almost had a guy at 7th St and Bell sell me some. He brought out two cases and I was going to pick up the Baroness, destro, and Neo Viper because the didn't have them in Surprise. Then another guy who works there that is a joe collector stopped him and told him he couldn't sell them because they are street dated. He went on to tell him that if they were to be sold he would have bought them all the day before. So be advised 7th St and Bell Target has a joe collector working there.
I did see roc combat heros at arrowhead target. Surprise WM had 12 inch and costume. No vehicles any where. I am going out this morning to metro. If you see me I have a green yo joe shirt on so say HI! As a 25th/me loose and moc completest I am torn what to do now with the roc figures. I am thinking just loose collecting the roc figures and getting moc ones of the ones I like or the ones that are "25th/modern era" esque like Thunder and the tank he comes with. What is every one else doing? |

I'm just looking to buy some select Joes that are the modern era work-ins and a few select movie joes for custom ideas! not intrested in most of the vehicals unless they have a wanted figure like Thunder! I expect they will be in abundance so i'm not going to race out after them.

I spent 289.34 at Metro TRu. I dind't realize how much each item was until I got to looking at them in the car (my friend was driving.) I ended up taking them all back to Arrowhead TRu as $17 for a small vehicle is crazy and $25 for the middle sized vehicles is nuts. I will wait to see how much they are at target. i did have a pit as well, I must admit that one I will end up buying again as long as it is not $100. The only thing I kept was the tru BBQ. Surprisingly they did not have the baroness, destro, neo viper wave there.
Which reminds me the Target on Bell I wrote about in the above thread the figures had a small hole punch in them with a tag for gijoe.com on it. Really weird. Oh and those all excited for Thunder like I was well don't be... it looks nothign like thunder. It's a resolute duke body complete with armor and a familiar head. I thought the protos we saw had a very accurate chest piece on him? The mole digger is really nice looking but not worth $17. |
