Jeez, I am SO glad I caught the BATS on HTS. As the WWE's Jim Ross would say, it's gonna be "bowling shoe-ugly" trying to find those damn things at retail. Either they're gonna be totally out, or bent to hell.

Thanks for the info, usually when it hits Grants Pass, it'll be here within the week.

I got up bright and early to hit the spots all the way up to Fairview, but didn't find anything remotely Wave 9.

Oh and for anyone interested, Fairview Wal-Mart got a new shipment in of those Marvel Crossovers Transformers. The line is kind of "meh" for me, but I'm LOVING that Venom and Spidey!

Anyone found the VvV single card figures that are suppose to be at Dollar General stores and KBs in other areas? I wondering if they would be at Dollar stores or big lots maybe. There were a couple of VvV figures I would like to pick up.

Hi,
I'm new to the site, but have been a Joe collector for years. I really got into GIJOE again when the 25th Anniversary articulated pieces came out. Just wanted to send an FYI to anyone in town that Wave 7 and Wave 9 figs are at the Clackamas Walmart and the Walmart just over in Washington off of Mill Plain Road on I-205. Was headed back home and stopped at these 2 and saw a bunch....2-3 Wave 7 embossed logo Wild Bills and SE also were there....but get this, I didn't see a single BAT at either.....I suspected that BATs would be tough to come by because some collectors are into army building.

I collect 2 of each, one with a mint card and one opener. I ended up picking up my Snow Serpent mint card and Snow Serpent opener. There were 3-4 BBQs, Hawks (bomber jacket), black Storm Shadows, and Bazookas at both Walmarts that I mentioned. All the cards of these guys had flaws that I couldn't live with so I'm just going to wait for my online stuff to come in since I paid extra to have minty pieces. Good luck everyone....hope all the collectors get what they need!

Found wave 1 08' vehicles @ walmart on w11th in Eugene. Bought my set; left a armadillo/sky chariot, and a VAMP for anyone else. Other wallmarts in the area got them too suposedly.

Nothing in Clackamas, 'cept some Vipers, 'Toon label Wild Bill, a Spirit, and two Jet Pack Dukes. Someone's been hitting the BATs and Snow Serpents hard...Out in Fairview, Wave 9 hit, no BATs, Serpents, Bazookas, just Hawks, Ninja-Ku Stomies, and Wave 7 revision stuff... I was a little annoyed, but I'm going to play the waiting game... AS Wave 10 nears, Wave 9 should be more plentiful...

I was in Bend for a couple days and hit a few Wal-Marts on the way back.
Bend Wal-Mart: BBQ, Bazooka, Hawk, Black SS, Lots of Rev Torpedoes, Vipier
Salem Wal-mart (On Hwy 22): Jetpack Duke, Lots of Vipers (I considered building an army of them), HISS driver, Wave 7 Snake Eyes ('89 version).
Salem Wal-Mart (on Lancaster): Pretty much the same as on Hwy 22.
If anyone's looking for Vipers, there were plenty of them.
Unfortunately, no vehicles. I didn't even see a shelf space for them.

HISS Tank for under buck! This is gonna be a good week

Just wanted to send out that I signed up for an Amazon.com VISA account that is currently offering a $30 credit on the first purchase. The application is online and sent me a quick decision so I ended up buying a HISS tank for 21.99 + 8.98 shipping. This comes out to $30.97 on my first billing which will have the $30 credit for getting a new VISA (mine was free of annual fees, so be sure to check that when you sign up). Thus, got my HISS tank for 97 cents! Amazone is reporting that the item should arrive between July 18 and July 22. Wanted to share with you guys since I think HISS's are going to be tough to come by.....seems like another army building piece! This should work with any products on Amazon....ie any Joe items that is up on the site. Later.
