Six something, I think. The two Wal-Marts here nearby have kept Joes throughout and stocked pretty heavily on the first two waves. I'm really surprised that I found this later revision set.
Stopped at TRU in Lexington today... That place is getting crappier and crappier. They had the Joes crammed into the Video Game/Novelty figure aisle between Bioshock and some other crap. I didn't even see it on the first pass. |

Nice! Better than the $7.99 I've been seeing at Target (and which will probably be getting a bump to $9+ soon from what I've been reading).
Since I'm in the Cincy area, I watch the Ohio thread too and one of the guys over there saw the wave 4 revision case at a local TRU. Had Low Light and Skydive, he said. So, that is another store I need to put back into my rotation

Finally found my first Shocktrooper- @ a Walgreens no less. Amazingly, it and a Duke #78 were the only Joes the store had. (Hikes Lane/Bardstown Rd) A fruitless hunt through 4 or 5 other local Walgreens found nothing more than wave 3 remnants...
I have not seen any wave 4 except the sweet Destro and Skydive I picked up at The Zone last week...The dude there gets figs in ocasionally, wished I'd gone through a few days earlier- probably could have wv 4 and several Shocktroopers by now... But I got a Shocktrooper so all's well.

Wow! They must have found a case back in the dusty corners of the stock room. Nice find

Today at Wally World on Veteran's Parkway I found Destro and Skydive, and some awesome dude who saw me carrying destro said he spotted a Low-Light in another aisle, which he led me to. Mad props to the guy, Low-Light looks awesome. Plenty of Destros and Skydives left, too. At least 3 of each

Oh, and TRU Lewis and Clarke had stocked the new 3.75 Pirates of the Carribean at 7.99 apiece, if anyone is interested in those.
This was all at around 1:00 to 1:30 today

I missed out on a needed Shadowtracker and Lowlight @ Veteran's Pkwy Wally...( But I did break down and get some Pirates IV stuff... I like the disney movies and I like 3.75 action figures so hell why not? Hasbro's not exactly throwing a lot at us these days so I had to venture into "stranger tides..." a collector gotta collect. Anyway- picked up the POTCST "Queen Anne's Revenge" ship @ Clarksville Wally and found 1 each of the single figures down the road @ Clarksville TRU. If you are curious or interested- the figures are very good quality plastic, nice detail and accessories with mostly good paint apps. Articulation could be better but all in all very nice figures. And the Queen Anne? Worth every penny of the $59.99. Very high quality, well made playset. Solid construction, nice "play features," cool gimmicks that don't take away from what it is- a nifty pirate ship. I'm surprised it's only 60 bucks considering what we have been getting for 20, 30 and 40$ vehicles over the last few years. All in all, the Queen Anne decked out with several of the figures is an awesome addition to a 3.75 collection.
