Saw a ROC Pit Commando at the Florence TRU. There is also a POC HISS hidden somewhere on the property... PM Rodimus88 if interested

Checked for POC @ TRU Clarksville, Dixie & Outer Loop this afternoon- nothing on the shelves. Not a surprise (based on all the reports from the board this past week) but you can't be sure nothing trickled out of the stockrooms till you check... and I am jonesing for a Snowcat and another HISS Tank or two...
Had more success @ TRU St Matthews (my last stop of course.) Just happened to look down on the bottom shelf at the clearence ROC Pitt Invasion multi-packs, hoping to see a drastic reduction in the clearance price so I could troop build some of the Neo Viper Officers. Still $22 but low and behold I spotted something hidden back behind... a brand new POC HISS Tank. Hope it wasn't a Tanker who stashed this but sorry- I got my second HISS and you got served... ![]() I know this is a controversial statement BUT I don't think "stashing" is too cool. We are all to one degree or another in the "brotherhood of plastic crack" in that we are both competitive with each other to find things but we also let others know when and where to help everybody else out. But if we see something awesome on the shelf and don't have the scratch, it's time too "let it go" for the other guy out there burning up gas trying to find it. And if you buy extras for freinds you know are looking for something that's certainly cool- but stashing ain't the answer IMHO... Not all Joe collectors visit or are even aware of boards like these so why should they lose out to a "clique" mentality? And stashing is one more reason for stores and store employees to shun collectors. We have plenty of obstacles as it is. Don't mean to be preachy, just hope you consider my ![]()

I only hid something once, a ROC Snake Armor, for a local Tanker who had been looking for one for a while and I happened to come across 2, and hid it so I wouldn't have to worry about payment and shipping and all of that jazz to get it to him. Pure laziness, I know. It's a fine line between helping one person out over hosing another. I try my best to stay away from that line |

The Meijer on Nicholasville Road didn't have anything as of 2:00 am yesterday. I didn't check the Hamburg side. Wal-mart on Nick Road was also pretty much useless. |

Looks like an Ollie's will be opening real soon in the Florence area. It is in the same shopping center as the TRU. Saw it this weekend... they were taking applications. The store had all of the signage up but couldn't tell if any merchandise was stocked yet. Could be a couple weeks before the doors open.
My wallet didn't need another place for me to find discount Joes, but I'm happy ![]() Quote:
Dude if you're not there when the doors open in the morning, you'll lose out to the two women stalking the place. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 07-11-2010 at 02:17 AM.. |

You found the Doomcycle?! You are the man! I'll have to wait awhile to hunt those down... Now that I am almost completely broke, the stores are safe from Snackrabbit for at least a couple weeks... who needs to eat lunch every day anyway? Ya gotta have priorities after all...
