Kentucky G.I. Joe Sightings

Scored some BATs this morning after work. Picked up a few Snow Serpents too, but with the up coming online store sets, I left the rest for some other fool.

Sorry Shakezula, I don't mean to pour salt in the wounds, but you're a bit out of the way to be hitting up this Wal-Mart anyhow.

Jesus! He had every right to buy the extra Bats and Serpents. He didn't clear out the store of the three cases. He completed a wave + troop builders. He was there early, early bird gets the worm. If you want someone to blame, look into the corporate morons who, after over a year of observing shortages and empty peg hooks have done absolutely nothing to satisfy demand for single pack figures.

I didn't get to that Target until after 6PM so they must have put out more, as I got Hawk and Bazooka. If it wasn't for Colder Soldier I'd never had gone to that Target last night, upping my total to 3 wave 9 figures thus far.

And Shaka- in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area (Clarksville, Indiana, being all of 5 minutes from Louisville, Ky.) there are 7 Targets and 11 Walmarts. Gotta get adventuresome and journey outside of tiny Clarksville.

First off I was joking.(funny you didn't quote the part I said <joke>) Second I live in Clarksville, TN not Indiana. So we may be talking about two different places. If you guys are talking about Indiana forget my last post. Here in Clarksville, TN I'm Right across from Hopkinsville, KY. I'm Nowhere near Indiana. Here at my one and only Target they only have wave 7, no vehicles, or dvd packs.

Oh and it's SHAKE not Shaka see picture <---------

Oh well it's all good. I guess I should stop drunk message boarding.

Awhile back I saw people in here from Hopkinsville and I told them if they looked out for toys for me around here I'd check for them.

Oh and this Clarksville isn't tiny it's the fifth biggest city in TN we have 4 super Wal-marts, 2 Big K-marts, TRU, but only 1 Target. According to their employees it's the worst money making Target in the country. They never even got the exclusive vehicles. That I could find anyway.

Now for sightings for all that do live near here. Tru had only old comic packs, and 1 CC wave 4. They did however have a whole crap load of senior officers and a few vehicles.

Started the late night hunt @ midnight (Sunday morning.) I started out needing a Barbecue, Snow Serpent and Cobra Bat.

Wally Westport Road had 1x Barbecue and Snow Serpent left which I happily purchased. Nothing left but Wv 8 and the Wv 9 repack figures (lotsa Torpedos.)

Wally Shelbyville Rd had a @ssload of all Wv 9 except only 1x Bat which I triumphantly purchased. Even multiple Snow Serpents but I only bought one extra Serpent, leaving 3 behind to help spread the love. The one Bat I found among probably 6 cases of figures on the pegs was pretty hidden all the way in the back so I have a feeling a troop builder missed it when collecting all the Bats. I also found and bought all three new Comic Packs, leaving one of each behind. No "Black Mask" Destro.

Wally Hourstborne was worthless, nothing new and still in the middle of their reset.

Wally Bardstown/Gene Snyder had plethora of Wv 9 except, you got it, Snow Serpents and Bats were all gone.

Wally Preston had nothing and Wally Outer Loop had just 1x Barbecue, Hawk and Bazooka.

All in all, a great night for me. Finished Wv 9 and new Comic Packs. Of course I'll continue looking to build my Bat and Snow Serpent army but now the pressure is off.

Hillview/Preston Highway Wal-Mart has wave 5 comic packs. I just picked up one of each and left behind two of each. No black mask Destro there.
