True, stock on GI Joe has been unreliable at most places lately. I'm starting to think stores just aren't ordering as much as they used to, pegs for all kinds of toys are more often barren than not.

I felt the same way at Botcon...in the diorama contest, there was a brilliantly done Shattered Glass Fall of Crystal City set, also a nice War for Cybertron set with a homemade Trypticon head. Both lost to the Angry Birds Transformer homage. I'm all for Pop culture, but give me a break already...

Damn.
I hate it when that type of thing happens. I've never been the slightest bit interested in an angry bird and I'm still not. Anyone happen upon any fresh Meijer stock lately? I need some Red Ninjas.

I bought contacts today from a beautiful lab tech who probably could've sold me anything in the store if she'd tried a little harder.

That's... pretty damn sad. I've seen all three of these though and aside from the effort put into Trypticon's head, there's really not a lot to any of them. I think I put more effort into my grade school pieces. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. |

Florence TRU has a lot of good troop builders @ $9.99 each. Multiples of Techno, 30th and Renegades Troopers, Hazard Vipers.
No Zombies or Stormys though.

Posted this in the main thread, but thought I'd share the info
........ Went to about 10 stores today; found nothing, but got a lot of intel. A few stores had just reset, but did not have these figures. The manager of one called around and the larger stores have them; ones with the "16-foot" toy displays. He had a limited list of the stores in his district and the larger ones had already sold the ones they had. Apparently, the smaller stores don't have the room to place them yet. Stopped at one last store after getting the UPCs from the other thread. The manager did a search and they have "6 in transit, 0 in stock" but showed me the back room and said they'd be somewhere in the big pile of stuff and would be set out by Sunday. He's going to hold 2 cases for me He also said he was unable to special order anything though. This was before he looked them up; I had asked if they could order some in if they had none in the back. PS, the "6 in transit" was after he entered the Stormy UPC. He also entered the Duke and Shipwreck codes and found 6 of those to. I'm guessing that means 6 cases.
