Just found the first wave of Retaliation figures at Meijer on Preston Highway. Grabbed Joe Trooper, Cobra Commander, Cobra Trooper, Red Ninja and Zartan. Left the others.

I have an...acquaintance, that's notorious for "untruths". It was one week ago he said he found some Retaliation figures at this very same Meijer. He said he tried to get himself and me some but first decided against it when they read $11.97. He then asked an employee about the price and that's when they found out they weren't supposed to be out. So of course there was no need for me going to check on the figs myself because the store put them back in the stockroom.

I guess there's no way I'll ever found out if that story is true. I'll continue thinking it's BS, but this is one helluva coincidence.
