Right so, back to the Ross thing, man, I've been trying for years to get Target to build a store closer to me because Wal-Mart has a strangle hold on general retail in this area. I've emailed like a second religion with no luck.

I don't know though, if enough of you show an interest and pester them with emails and generalized "bait" information to entice... Who knows. Thing is, this Ross and Joes lovematch isn't going to last forever. So don't just go into it with "Hey, I want to buy Joes from your stores but we don't have any in this state." If you want to go from that angle, your best bet is to harass Hasbro about better distribution to the secondary retail chains.

Absolutely. It's the same in any secondary market location. I remember buying almost the entire Tiger Force line at Big Lots for my brother back in like 92 or so, then nothing. I've done retail for the better part of my life and if there is one universal truth it's that the higher level management and owners really don't care about anything but a bottom line. Not carrying one single line of intellectual property from a company like Hasbro that offers so many more lines is not a huge concern for them. That's why forums like this exist so that we can help each other out because the retailers sure as hell aren't going to do it.

And don't get me wrong, I'd love to see some of those lost Ross Gems find their way into Kentucky without having to pay the eBay markup. But maybe the effort should be spent trying to get TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Ollie's and the like to carry these first. I can't believe that there's a legitimate "exclusive" mentality between Hasbro and Ross. I have no doubt that Hasbro will sell them to anyone who wants to carry them.* You just have to poke the right people and show the interest.

*Now, I could be wrong, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

found a couple Zombie Vipers and a Scarlett today at St Matthews TRU. they also had Lifeline, Sci-Fi, Renegades Trooper, Law & Order, Ripcord and Techno Viper. I wish I'd had more money...

Hey guys,
I stopped at St Matthews TRU this morning on the way to work & found Several Renegades CC, Firefly, IG's, 1 Steel Brigade version 2, 1 Techno Viper, 1 Tunnel Rat, and 1 Ripcord.
The rest must've gotten snagged yesterday.
I picked up the Techno Viper & Steel Brigade & left the others.
Hopefully we will see these more here in the next couple of weeks.
