I would disagree this place has become a dump, I post here and on BFNE and other FB groups, there is way too much knowledge and kinship to be had! And just because you are not in BFNE does not mean you are excluded form meets, the last was posted about multiple times in here, and the last meet was awesome, had fun won a prize, bought some Joes in the parking lot after...can't wait for the next one!

So... just to be clear to everyone, (because I seem to have inadvertently left a negative impression), when I say "this place is a dump", it was obviously to be meant in the same joking, spirit of good fun that I've always used when posting here. I was referring to the fact that there are very few posters or joe discussions between MA/RI members anymore, not implying that the thread is somehow full of unimportant assholes. Hopefully I didn't offend anyone and people know where I'm coming from.

Anybody who has ever met me knows that I have a pretty dry sense of humor. As most of the other veteran members can attest to, there is plenty of ball-busting that goes on here regularly between myself, Shadowninja, BEAM, Destro's Son, Mainframe, mike000, dgnr82, tragichabits, netkid, and others. We constantly tease and give each other hard times but we're all in it together, and bullying or animosity is never part of the picture.

Shadowninja specifically is one of my closest friends here and we always give each other crap. If I'm not busting him about power rangers, he's making fun of me for buying Micro Force. He knows I have his back and he's always been there for me. Anyone who thinks we are having serious arguments is seriously misinformed.

If I really didn't want to be here, I would have left Hisstank. The fact remains that even though the site has changed quite a bit in the past couple of years and many old members are gone, the home page is still a major hub for fast joe news and there are people that post in this thread whom I like that aren't on the BFNE facebook group, and I enjoy hearing from them.

Regarding what I had said about the last meetup: There's no competition going on here. I love the small group meetups we've always had get together, and have even organized a few myself. There's no reason those shouldn't continue. The point is that BFNE had a surprisingly great turnout this fall for a little startup group. Love it or hate it, it seems to work. I could care less if people want to boycott it, I'm just being honest about the situation.

Well said ('cept for the Chipotle, taking your life into your own hands there! lol) Air-Tight, I for one took no offense, words on a page can be hard to determine tone...and as I am sure you would agree there wouldn't be a BFNE meet w/o us spreading word here, so anyone can come and not feel left out and should not feel the need to boycott

And for those who are flaty against the social media thing let me just say this, you can do what I suggested to DS, make a profile that is not your personal one, make a customs page, you don't ahve to make freinds but it does give an additional avenue to find out about meets, share thoughts and best of all more people to trade with!
