Want to hear your opinions on this.

You think they'll ever stop/cure the zombies in the walking dead?

You basically get stuck in a revolving door of survival and trying to rebuild society or something you can at least call a safe living environment. I mean, what else will they do? Survive, kill walkers, try to live out their lives safely, then pass on and become zombies themselves?

The story has to go somewhere, introduce something new. Will the goal be to find a cure or at the very least, an explanation? Will we find a patient zero who is the cause of the walkers and is immune to infection/turning? Will we find walkers that retained their intelligence and have become slowly-decaying immortals?

What do you think? Does the story of just fighting to survive eventually get old?

There was a show on BBC America called "In the Flesh," where they had found a cure and the story was about their "medication and rehabilitation" to rejoin society. It was only 5 episodes or so long. It followed a teen and his reintegration to family, neighborhood, etc.
