Thanks. I'll save up for him. Blew a lot at RICC this weekend.
BBTS has that figure for $39.99. Since I already have a PoL, it might be the better deal, especially since Amazon raised the free shipping amount. Chances of finding something for $3 on Amazon is slim and none. |

The manager at Toy Vault is a pretty nice guy I used to talk with him whenever i walked in. The owner on the other hand is kind of a DB if you ask me. I will not purchase anything from them again. A few years back I had an ex that bought me a night raven from there. When she got home with it realized that it was in piss poor shape (roughed up a bit missing two bombs and the guard that goes over the top gun, both wing piece were glued on and the cockpit was broken
. She paid 85 for it. I called them and got the manager. He said he remembered her and that it was him that rang her out but he didn't notice the issues. He told me that they normally don't do returns but I could bring it back the next day and he would look at it and we could go from there. When I brought it back the owner just happend to be in and he basically told me that it was her fault for not knowing what she was buying and that they couldn't help me. Screw them! At the time I was buying stuff from them like every few weeks between the At and warwk stores now I wont even stop in. I did same that same manager at RICC running the booth I did say hi but that's it.

The owner used to be a nice guy. I remember when they had the older store in the apple valley area. I don't know what happens to him that made him change so much.
We had boxed joe vehicles for sale at a toy show. He came by our booth and stopped dead, shocked, and commented on how he had never seen these vehicles in such fantastic condition. Me and our buddy (same buddy who we saw working the con yesterday) watched the booth while my bro shopped the show floor for anything he might want. Once the TV owner found out that we were selling them (I've met and remembered him for years, but he forgets who I am), he backed out, probably because he knows we are knowledgable collectors with an extensive toy collection. I'm not going to repeat what he said to how he acted, but I got the feeling that I think he shyed away, knowing he couldn't get them for a lowball price. His loss though, we ended up selling the vehicles to the guy who runs the ri comic con, he loved them and has them displayed in his personal collection. I'm glad they went to someone who will appreciate the pieces.

Blew me off like a Piece of S%$@. Very disappointed in him right now. I was told " He's all about volunteers and the hard work they do at the CON" could have fooled me. He didn't seem like he wanted to take a pic and walked off when I tried to talk to him. Glad I spent nothing at the con. Might give him another chance; maybe he was tired, but I talked to someone higher up that helps run the con and he has no use for JDF. Says he stays as far away as possible. The guy didn't even have JDF sign his group poster. That's pretty hardcore in not wanting him to even sign the poster. I have a better time at Joecon! On another note the guys that played Bulk and Skull are really down to earth guys, spent the whole weekend with them.

I was wondering if JDF would come off as that. It's weird, some people say he's a fantastic guy and others say he be like a wolf, ready to snap at someone in an instant.
Maybe he's go some issues that make him exhibit sharp changes in personality. I hope he's not on roids, otherwise he'd be lucky to live past 60. I heard the bald dude from top gun is a great guy. Very down to earth and pleasant to talk with. So how were the other guests? How was that dude from commando and mad max? I wish I got there earlier yesterday and wouldn't have minded going again today, but I had errands to run, stuff to do that I was going to get done yesterday had I not received the con invite. Overall, it was a good show, very well organized, but very crowded. I got there at noonish-1? stayed until they closed the con floor. Half my time there was just trying to navigate the aisles. So packed, I can now understand their future plans for even more room, but if they implement such a thing, I don't think one could see everything in a single day.

He sounds like an asshole all the time by the other dude not getting him to sign the group poster.

I got the weekend pass, so I went Sunday too and the floor was pretty crowded, especially the closer you got to the "big names." Sound slike they had some issues with the Batman VIP passes and Adam West's handler honoring them. Tons of comments on their facebook page. West being a dick, surprise, surprise. And Billy Dee was only signing from 1-4pm yesterday. Another dick. And I base that on previous interactions.
Conversely, I LOVED the Bounty Hunters. It's the grunts of the Star Wars universe that are super cool, down to earth, and friendly. Paul Blake aka Greedo was my favorite. He wore a pin declaring his support of the "Han Shot First Club." As much as we bust about MMPR, it sucks when one of them pulls a dick move. While waiting for John Morton aka Dak from Star Wars, I watched Bulk and Skull interact with fans and they impressed me. I'd grab a beer or three with them ... so long as they don't talk Power Rangers. |

I wonder what the other half of the story is with Austin St. John (original red ranger). Once again JDF made comments directed toward Austin. Would love to hear Austin' s version, maybe he could share some light on if JDF is a douche. I have to give Austin credit he is humble in my book because all the comments and stories Austin has never come out and said anything about JDF. No one even knows where he really is. Now I was never a Red Ranger fan so I'm not jumping on Austin's Bandwagon now, but was just pointing out some facts.
