Yeah, Hasbro QC has been tanking gradually since 2006. I've pretty much experienced every qc flaw you can think of at least once with their toys. The killer is when you carefully look over the item before buying it, only to then go home, open it and discover that it's faulty somewhere your eye could not see from the way it was packaged. I remember when I had to return my first Alternators toy, Grimlock. Got him at ToysRus in Warwick and then had to take him back because his trunk was so warped it could not be closed. The replacement was perfectly fine.

As for Joes, I haven't even seen anything beyond wave 2. The overall toy selection in RI has been meh.

Hell, this while summer I bought nothing but Glyos and toys from Japan.

Unfortunately the way the figs are packaged, I'm not sure I could have seen these flaws in the packaged fig.

The bright spot is a 4" Christopher Reeve Superman. That headsculpt looks very good. Of course in typical Mattel fashion, they left out knee articulation. I just hope these are close to MU size and not Injustice or Infinte Heroes size.

I am so torn! I'm a DC fan big time, and love the sculpts...but no knee articulation?!? Ugh!

No ABomb figures at target seekonk or anywhere in Warwick. Didn't try n.smithfield target yet, but they never restock and had nothing a week ago.

Wzas talking to a guy who has soem "insider info" on the new DC figs, the ones they are showing are just the proto's and that the line is to have 15 POA when released.

Nice. Then we're definitely looking at articulation on the level of MU - cut thighs, ankle, bicep, etc. As I said Zod looks fully articulated so we should expect that of Reeves Superman. Personally they can keep DeVito Penguin as 5POA; who need shim in an action pose?

Can't wait for these. Many things to look forward to in 2014 between Star Wars, these, rebranded MU.
