DS loves him some Sunday afternoon flix, anything that would have been shown on TV38 back in the day.

In honor of Beam's Anthrax reference I give you 1978 "the Swarm" starring My Cocane, I mean Micheal Cain.

I know you guys don't have 90 mins to watch the whole thing, so here it is boiled down to 7 mins.

Notice the subtle 70s style race propaganda as folks from Texas who have no accent fight off murderous African killer bees!


Ahhhhh... Killer bees. Memories, in the corner of my mind....

Maybe next Sunday well screen the seven min version of "Towering Inferno"!!!!!

Dredd is a FANTASTIC movie, severely underrated and one of the best films I've seen in years. It's also 10,000,000x better than the Stallone garbage.

That's actually why I'm so excited about the new robocop remake trailer, I'm hoping its on the same level of cool that Dredd was.

DS- buy Dredd, you won't be disappointed. (If only for the slow-motion bullets tearing through druggie cheeks and skinless bodies splattering from being dropped from like 100 stories, you will appreciate it.) but seriously, it has a great storyline as well.

(Beam- keep our pillow-talk quiet, what goes on in my joe room stays in my joe room. Don't want DS getting jealous.)

There is an unrated version of World War Z just released on Blu Ray which has more blood than the theatrical release. Here's to hoping we get the same treatment for the Robocop remake (if it's worth seeing mroe then once).

I got my shipment from Kokomo on Saturday - extra Data Viper and Budo. Damn if that Budo head on the cardback isn't 1000% better than the hound dog Budo we actually got.

Kokomo has the new Marvel wave (Abomination, Cloak & Dagger) on ebay so I'm hoping my case through BBTS is fulfilled soon.

Stopped into Marshalls yesterday while my wife was a few stores down. Wasn't expecting anything but was just curious to see what they had if anything. Surprised to find a couple of Dr. Strange/Silver Surfer comic 2-packs for $12.99 each, as well as the entire wave of Star Wars mini-vehicles (including the mini Slave I) for $14.99 each. I didn't want any of it but I figured I'd make note of it in case anyone else is looking for that stuff.

I'm hoping some stuff will start show at Marshall's/TJ Maxx now that Christmas is upcoming. The was a draught for most of the summer. I'm not looking ofr anything in particular but it's always interesting to see what pops up on thier shelves.
