To clarify I was quoting Robocop as a joke to Ninja seeing the new trailer and not liking it, as in "Does it hurt to watch this shitty remake of a classic."

Dredd is good. Gritty, violent fun. I neve saw the Stallone Dredd. I was turned of by Stallone by that point in his career and it had Rob Schnieder as comic relief.

I recommend Dredd. Karl Urban is perfect in the roll. Hell he'd be the perfect action star if Hollywood would let him. Screw Gerard Butler and his side mouth talking. Give all his roles to Urban.

It was a little better than ok, especially if you have amazon prime it's free. The psychic thing was a new twist, I liked it. It was grimm and gritty....Lots of death it was worth my time to watch it. Was never into the comic, back in the day it came down to one week I only had enough dough for Dredd or Marshall Law, and Law won. I did like the one shot of Batman vs Dredd though.
