Well guys last night I won one of my holy grails. '83 Headquarters (I set my sights lower then others. ha) Came across the auction with 12 minutes left and snagged it. It is complete with the box, although that was never a selling point when I looked for it before. It also comes with an almost complete Fang copter.
I got my original Christmas of 83, it stayed in the living room corner for years. Slowly parts vanished and eventually it got tossed out. Now I just need to find a WHALE and my childhood favorites will be al back in hand.

Good for you, never had one but have been wanting to change that. And box too, how can people get rid of these things? How are they still around? What is a good price?

And to think I passed on that. "Deep breath" I never dug python patrol, I still don't regret not buying that set. Only thing I don't have. How many you guys out there have one?

I had passed on that con set too. At last minute i added a bagged set onto Airtight's order. Had to call Funpub and talk to the staff to get it done. Had to give my cc card over phone.
If it came out after the cc fiasco i probably would have passed.

Nice find. A box is always a plus. I never seek them out but if if comes with it for a decent price it's a bonus. About 2 years ago I grabbed one of my Star Wars holy grails - a complete Kenner Dagobah playset that came with the box on Rebelscum for a steal and I still have the box. I don't need it but it's nostaliga so why throw it out.

I want a '83 Headquarters myself. I'm not a vehicle or vintage collector but that is one fine playset. I might even consider getting the Mobile Command Center. First I have to reorganize my display to better accommodate my figures before adding these showpieces.

Awe damn. Not really into the whole social networking scene. The tank and the bay are really the only thing I use my computer for. I've been doing the auction thing on and off since 2000 and joined the tank not all that long ago since then it Definitely has become my favorite Joe site!

Hey guys if any one local is into doing customs and such I have a boat load of vehicle shells and some parts I'm willing to give up for $0. Just set something up with me to pick it up. I got the top half of a night raven, a sky patrol raven, a killer whale top half with cockpit lid, sky striker, phantom x19 the top half is a lil rough but bottom half is good with no broken tabs for the lading gear.
