blasphemy who dare speak such words about Hasbro! I have a friend in the company who loves his job. He is not currently working on the joe line but has friends who do and the word I get from him is Hasbro plans to focus primarily on the Kreo line as far as the future of the modern 4" line is uncertain at best and may end up on the back burner awhile. I was told that it does seem that the higher ups (the Exec's at least the ones in his office) just don't have the passion for what they do unlike in years past . Only the future will tell how this will all play out but Hasbro really needs to wake up and realize the collector has kept there lines alive all these years and without us they won't be selling all that much.

Look at the bright side, now we have time to stop worrying about new releases and can catch up on any older items we missed.

I'm going through all my Star Wars toys today as I type this. Getting rid of many, many figures. I've just decided that I only really like certain figures. Cutting out any that I feel there are better versions of, cutting out figures that are basically just repaints of something I already have, cutting out figures I've asked myself "why the heck did I buy this?".

Figures I will eventually buy include better versions of characters I am going to sell, any figures I wanted but could not find (many fall into this category), and figures I passed on because I did not know at the time how great they really were. The only thing that worries me is some figures and figure sets I want are fetching high prices, higher than I'd ever want to pay. But luckily, some figures I wanted that were fetching crazy money have dropped down to very affordable prices.

It's insane really, 50% of the Star Wars stuff I'm keeping were figures I only saw 1 of once and only once. That whole line was never easy for me to find at retail. Which is also the main reason I did not focus my collecting on Star Wars, I just couldn't find what I wanted most of the time. However, I am thankful for what figures I do have from my toy searches. Darth Revan, Malak, Seripas, Mandalorian warrior, Darktrooper, McQuarrie figures, anything Durge, anything Boba Fett, anything General Grievous, Expanded Universe, the various special 30th troopers just to name a few. All those were right place, right time situations.

At the risk of sounding like a hypocrite, I think I'm in the same boat as you guys. Glad kreo is another lifeline (no pun intended) for Joe, but I just can't get into it. I bought the first wave of kreon single figures and while they're cute and hold minor sentimental value, I never really play around with them, they just stand lined up on my shelf. Never bought any of the bigger sets, just no room for it. Not even sure I'm going to buy the second wave of singles yet. It's strange too because I love Legos and have since I was a wee lad, but I don't like most of the Lego crossover stuff strangely enough. I think with me Lego was always about pure imagination and generic playsets that could go in any direction. For example: Lego castle and pirates are my favorites because anything goes and there's no real storyline tied into them.
