I used to think that until the Helix wave hit heavy in the Boston area.

but then again, the movie Hype is starting to die down,. so I'm not sure if they're ordering at the same rate; or restocking the shelves (the same figures have been hanging in South bay mall's racks for awhile, and they took down the end caps)
either that, or we have an unknown scalper in the area scouring the stores (most of the people I've seen in the joe Aisle I recruit for the Boston Coil Club, eliminating them from the suspected list)

Yeah, I hit HTS lat night for the figs, use GIJOE10 for the promo code......I have an extra Doctor in black coat MOC if somebody wants to trade when I get my stuff, ordered a bunch of extra stuff. If your order over 100 dollars worth of stuff it becomes cheaper than buying the stuff at stores

as for vintage collecting? The only spot I know of in the greater Boston area thats left is a comic store near Tufts University called Comicazi. There about 3 blocks from the Davis Square T-Stop (if they're still there)

Ebay has pretty much pushed allt he other stores into the ground. However theres a Hobby/ Role Playing store in Malden that sells very cool stuff that can be used as Diorama stuff. (its the only hobby store left in the Greater boston area)

other than that, thers only new England Comics and newbury comics in additon to Target, Wal-mart, and Super Stop n Shop's Toy section.

(anyone know if theres a K-mart still open?)

K-Mart in Somerville...............has crap-ola though. I routinely check there and the 2 Targets in one fell swoop. Sometimes when I really feel like frustrating myself I drive to the Toys R Us
