That would be tough to do, seeing as I work in an office where few old people or children are really around.

Mattel really hasn't learned it's lesson and they never will. I was at a Walmart in Warwick and the pegs were full of Man of Steel toys. The 4" figures were all Superman in various outfits/armors. The random Zod was mixed in but it's like DKR all over again. How about a Lois Lane figure? Perry White? Supes in civilian clothes? Something different. Expect these to sit and be clearanced to under $2 by Labor Day.

The Movie Masters seem to sell well, probably because they have a decent sculpt and articulation.

BTW, here's my boy Alex at Friendly Neighborhood Comics on Free Comic Book Day. We entered the costum contest but I don't think he won - then again I haven't seen any list yet. He's definitely a padawan nerd - and the fact I'm using that phrase shows I'm at Nerd Master level.

BBTS just posted pre-order pics for the Wolverine movie figures. Dear Lord! They look like the old '90s Xmen 4" figures, with a little less articulation.

Ouch, those are bad. They make the Man of Steel figure look good by comparison. I'm sure we won't have any trouble finding those Wolverine figures. I was excited about Silver Samuri but that photo on BBTS is not doing it any favors. Maybe I'll grab a Logan figure for the boy.

On the other hand, I'm getting the boy those Nerf Wolverine claws. Those are sweet. I printed out a Wolvie mask and laminated it. Those claws will be a big hit in my house. I bet Target or Walmart will price them better than $11.99 too.

Attleboro TRU has two fall of cybertron grimlock figures. They are perfection, I bought one for my wife for Mother's Day. She is all about Grimlock and the Dinobots. So there is two left. $25 each.
