They were at that tru I stood in line for on Wednesday. Like everything else I missed out because I was 9th in line behind some very fast scalpers. Sorry again about not being fast enough to grab that morphers power rangers set for you ninja.

Ya know I saw wave 3 at plymouth walmart friday night..I have yet to buy any of these retaliation toys..I had flint .alley viper.dark ninja.roadblock .firefly and colton in my hand and left them in the $5dvd bin..these figures are by no means great or worth my $10. Im trying to see the good in them but simply cant.they r not roc..the roc movie sucked but the figure line was outstanding. This might very well be a reversal.

well the wave 2 snake eyes is prob better than anything that was in the roc line. most of the ninjas probably are in fact, theyre all based off of the renegades storm shadow which most everyone loved.
the wave 2 roadblock is also really good, the battle kata thing is a little goofy but doesnt take away from the actual figure. |

Exactly. Took the words right out of my mouth. Dark Ninja is 100% Renegades SS parts and better than any of the junk in the ROC line. To be fair, ROC was worlds better than the 25th line only in articulation and detail. However many of the movie characters and all of the silly vipers suffered immensely. I think it's also safe to say that without ROC we would never have gotten POC, a vastly superior line to anything we've seen from Joe yet (IMO) and paved the way for the amazing stuff we got in the 30th waves.

Yea each line has built things of the lines before it. Not every figure in those lines were hits but there are a lot of great figs in all those lines.

Awesome news for my fellow Jurassic Park fans- it looks like the new JP toys (which may or may not include those reused Joes and joe parts/vehicles) may be hitting shelves sooner than later!
JP:3D Toys are out! Or... are they? - JPToys - News While the joes look cool, I'm a bigger dinosaur fan at heart and I'm SUPER excited about these fantastic new Dinosaur sculpts that surfaced a while back. Here's what may be included in the new line so far: JP Toys And here's a picture of the bagged prototypes! http://www.abload.de/img/ea337002pdbsp.jpg

Hasbro loves that AWE Striker.
I'd be interested in the 3 human figures - Mercenary, Archer Mercenary, One-Eyed Raider - to add to the Joes. I know Mercenary is available through China sellers and I should pull the trigger on him. I didn't read all of the links but would each human be teamed with a dinosaur? Any idea on the price point? |

I didn't read all of the links but would each human be teamed with a dinosaur? Any idea on the price point? Don't buy any of those high-priced JP figures from china just yet- 3 reasons why: A) supposedly those are the figures that will come with the dinosaurs when they are released, so they will be available for a fraction of that cost, B) there was a Hisstank user not too long ago who reported contacting one of those china sellers (who posts the figures one at a time) testing the seller by telling them that he was interested in buying like 100+ of the figures at that high price and was curious if he could fill his order... The seller responded with Yes, that he indeed had enough figures to fill his order! So if that's true, that's just proof that these sneaky Chinese sellers are just trying to milk these things for all they're worth. C) So if that story is true, chances are that these guys could wind up widely available on eBay in the near future. That big tattooed mercenary JP guy sold for like $360 in the beginning and now he's down to $3.99! No one is sure just yet who is coming with what or what the set will include, but here's a link with some set names and prices that someone got from TRUs system. And yes, these will be TRU exclusives: JP:3D TOYS ARE COMING! - JPToys - News

I"ve waited this long so no sense in grabbing the JP Samoan Roadblock figure. If the official version has less gear than the china one, I'll grab it from a china seller. I think I have one on my eBay watch list for $10 shipped.
I'll be interested to see what those sets come with for those price points. The dinosaurs are getting handed down to my son. I like dinosaurs as much as Fast_Draw likes Star Bores. |
