Grabbed a few Alley Vipers and Crossed Eyed Coltons. It's deflating to stick 2 kids in a car, drive 15 minutes to a store, chase one kid around AND come home empty handed. The thrill of the hunt has been gone for some time now, too much a pain in the ass. Now just waiting on wave 4 and all the new MU stuff. Anyone see the Puck wave?

My local walmart restocked twice in 4 days. I grabbed a Herc only because I already preordered Nova and Angel. Puck and Nighthawk are a pass for me. Everything is gone now.

Friendly Neighborhood Comics has one Herc and 2 Nighthawks for $15 each.

I hear you, even though I don't have kids yet I'm starting to feel the pain of the almost $4.00-per gallon gas prices from going to stores. I drive close to 3 hours a day for my commute and it hurt the wallet a lot. Add to the fact that figure prices are way up and it doesn't make matters better. I found and bought a deluxe-class TF FOC Kickback for my friends birthday at TRU, and paid $18.49 for it. Think about how insane that is, it's basically $20 for a deluxe TF figure that's smaller and less detailed than deluxe figures used to be.

As for that MU wave, I've not seen it yet but I know Shadowninja has driven around and found it at a couple of places, I'd say that if history has taught us anything about toys, it's that the final waves of a line can be the rarest and most valuable- I don't necessarily know if this will be the final MU wave but with IM3, Thor2, Avengers 2 and captain America 2 coming down the pipeline in the next couple of years, I wouldn't be surprised if MU disappeared. So grab these when you see them.

Also, Dedham TRU got in a fresh case of Joe Kreo singles last night, I got a couple more alley vipers as I was impressed with them, but the rest are all there. They're in the kreo aisle though and not on the endcap with the rest of the joe display.

Dedham TRU also got in those 2 new MU 3-packs: Karnak, black bolt, and medusa as well as Mockingbird, Hawkeye and War Machine.

Found a dollar general store today. didn't even know they had any in MA.

Well, took advice and called New England comics, they had Hercules and Angel, left 2 Nighthawks but no Nova or Puck. 15 bucks each but they had a Magneto for 5 so it was worth it. I do want a Nova though. Read the first issue today and was pretty good, finally got to see the guys in use from that damn Rocket Raccoon pack that no one ever buys. I though they were making them up. I'd love a Drax the Destroyer with the purple cape.
