Speaking of Dio supplies...

The DG has these two military sets, the figures look like True Heroes style: big and bulky. But the two sets have decent accessories it looks like. One has an ATV but the other has a 3 piece battle damaged brick wall. It's unpainted but has some decent detail.

I keep meaning to pick it up.

Sounds like the sets the sell at Rite-Aid, Real Marines or soemthing like that

I'm thinking these will be the running change (new colors). Hasbro had indicated that they were out there waiting to hit shelves and seems weird for the online guys to start getting them all at once if they are the same figs been in DGs for awhile now.

And only certain online guys are getting them, only the bigger ones.


I only want a MOC set if it is the new colors and Shippy and SE loose. Still need more of the Black Cobra Trooper and have 0 interest in the new color.

Yeah, there's a little Marine Corps flag on the brick piece.

Someone with decent painting skills could make a nice display piece out of it. Sadly, my skills suck.

This is very true, I hadn't really thought of that. I suppose that tradition is being carried forward here, even though a lot of the movie figures are actor likenesses.

Does this DG have wave 2 yet or does it just seem to be wave 1?

You should have gotten in touch with Shadowninja when wave 1 was hitting CTS—he scored something like 40 or 50 black cobra troopers from traveling all over the place, lol

I like the promising note at the bottom: "Note, this item could be the original set but is most likely the running change repaints. That said, we can not accept requests for a specific variant on this item."

I really think these wave 2 variants will be hitting in full force soon in some outlet, It's SO ridiculous for people to be spending $30+ on wave 2 Storm Shadow and the cobra trooper on ebay when they're $5 figures.

Wave 1 at the DG. Checked a couple Marshalls and nothing. Even checked a Marshalls in Bell Garden, CA when stuck in LA for couple weeks.

After seeing the CA Target, Ross and Marshalls, I'm never going to complain about the condition of the shelve at my stores again. Holy crap, looked like tornados tore through those stores.

I still think the cases at the e-tailers will be running change.
