also, TRU is having a sale on all Avengers figs. Not a bad tim to stock up on custom fodder

Got my comics tonight and decided to hit a few stores. Marshalls in Franklin has 2 Purple/Blue Sentinels. Grabbed a General Hawk and left a Cobra Trooper at the Bellingham Walgreens. Got a $5 off $20 or more coupon too. Stopped at a Walgreens off Pulaski Blvd (Woonsocket? Bellingham? not sure where the border is) and saw a Renegades Scarlett and Jungle Viper.

Friendly Neighborhood Comics in Bellingham still has Jubilee if anyone needs her.

Oh and North Smithfield Walmart has the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 pack on clearance for $17. There were 3 on the shelf.

I'd always said I could only attend Joecon if it was in driving distance, but this just happens to work out because have a friend in Indianapolis and can crash at his place. So looks like I'll be going.

But man, Joecon is an expensive trip.

Yup, but realistically all trips are. Don't get me wrong, spending about 1200 bucks....and that is probably bare minimum....for a "toy experience" is hard to justify to someone outside of the hobby. And that's if you go with the "I'm not cutting expenses attitude"....I.E. staying at you buddies place/air mattress ect. I'm to old and too finicky about my sleep or to pile in a car with 5 guys. So unfortunatly for me, yeah, Joe Con will cost alot. Depends on the figs to dictate if I go after a set or not. Honestly, the last big thing I'm looking for us a Cobra La set. I feel we were spoiled with OG and having so many new unreleased characters.

I was very disappointed with that set.. Color scheme was awful and the figures looked like crap.. I was hoping the would redo the remaining member from the 88 line seeing we already have some NF guys i.e. Outback, Shockwave, Falcon (second sub)... The 2004 guys could be added to the 2nd fss. Wish we get both the Night Boomer and Night Ray but it will probably one or the other and the Night Shade (Sharc)... That's my guess...
