I have the BAF Galactus so I never really looked at this version too close. Any major differences between these two versions?

The newer one is larger, taller and wider, more ornate in his decoration and detail, darker color scheme, and correct me if I'm wrong but does he have lights and sound like the sentinel?

Right on DS. But if you have the BAF Galactus, you're probably not missing anything, unless your life is incomplete without a talking 19" Devourer of Worlds. Both have pros and cons. For me, buying the MU Galactus was far cheaper than paying for a BAF one.

I had gotten the baf a long time ago when it first came out, so I have thus far not spent money on the dark one.
Which is not to say I won't buy one when I see it, I'm sure I will.

So what do you guys think about Disney possibly buying Hasbro... I mentioned this as a "what if" after they bought Lucasfilm and now we have a rumor. Just was wondering what you guys think...

Thanks for the info. I had picked up the Galactus wave when it came out as well. I was collecting superhero showdown line at the time, they had that metallic Silver Surfer that looked great next to Galactus. Some decent figures in that line we will probably never get in MU.
I guess they enlarged him so he could tower over the Sentinels and Giant Man.
