Thanks man! I have no doubt it'll go through, it's just a waiting game now while the bank processes the loan and all that. I agree with you 100%! I can understand if something has a window box (kinda/maybe... but not really) or if you collect carded figures, but why have something in a box? The artwork is cool, yes, but what's the point? I'll never understand it.

I find it to be almost as strange as people who army build carded figures with no intention whatsoever of opening any of them... that fucking baffles me...

I shit you not. There are multiple threads where people have posted pictures of their carded "armies" all mounted up on a wall. Multiple carded CG's around multiple carded Cobra Troopers with a Carded Cobra Officer or two mixed in "guarding" a carded Cobra Commander.

They seem to like the display factor of it. I just don't see it.

I haven't opened up a Joe since Valor vs. Venom. I just haven't had the time to open anything new up. So since 2007-now I must have...hmm..I'd think at least 100 sealed figures. But when I do decide to open them all up, especially the poc stuff, it will be a GLORIOUS G.I. Joverdose.

No, I did open a bunch of other stuff instead. Star Wars, Transformers, Lego. I opened those right up.

With 25th Joe, I ended up making this odd promise to myself that I wouldn't open any up until I had 25th Storm Shadow to go with my 25th Snake Eyes.

25th Snake Eyes was the first 25th Joe I purchased and it's what got me back into collecting G.I.Joe.

For the longest time I had all the different 25th figures but could never find the 25th Storm Shadows until they hit Five Below and TJ Maxx/Marshalls. By that time, ROC was already flooding the discounters.

I just decided to keep going, finding and collecting the figures as they appeared. I was fine opening other toys, so Joes were collected but playing with them was put on the back burner.

Mind you, this was way before I posted regularly here in the sightings. If anything, the recent scarcity of post ROC Joe figures is what got me posting here again. I used to have an easy time finding the single-carded 25th Joes unless they were anything Storm Shadow or clear Wraith. Those were the only ones that really eluded me until the big discounter period.

Don't you worry, I will open them all up. Right now during the long hiatus, I'm going to assemble a 25th-30th list of anything else I might want, collect that, and then finally open them all up before Retaliation hits again.

Then it's on to collecting Retaliation figures once those arrive...
