Anyone see these from SDCC? Looks like DC is finally doing 4" figures with articulation. First wave will be Green Lantern.
Unfortunately they are all going to be "Con Exclusives" to gauge interest. Ugh. 2012 SDCC Day 3 - DC Super Heroes 3.75" Figures Detailed Images - 2012 San Deigo Comic Con - ToyNewsI.com Thanks for the link. I missed this. I knew Mattel had it in them to produce articulated 3.75" figures. Hey Mattel, bypass the con exclusives and go straight to mass production. They WILL sell and sell better than the GL and TDKR movie figures. In fact, do some Nolan Batman figures from all three movies and I'll buy them up. Quote:
Just stopped by Dedham TRU, where they finally have the Avengers helicarrier (there were 2 on the shelf). Price was 69.99. I couldn't help but admire the thing though, as pointless as it seems. I'd love to get one at a reduced price and customize it as a cobra helicarrier, I can see the color scheme in my head exactly, and firebats taking off from the runway. The 5-point-articulation Captain America figure that comes with it is a piece of crap, even worse than the dollar-store MU figures IMO.
What are you guys' thoughts on this standard retail helicarrier, worth the $70? is it just garbage like the ROC Pit? worth getting at a reduced price? At least the ROC Pit I would have paid $40. It has more play features and can fit 3.75" figures. |

Hasbro is failing all over, every toy that SHOULD be on the shelves is a con exclusive. Hey, here's an idea, the packaging, yeah? THAT'S your exclusive, proves the material was at the con. The product? Get that in my hands you summa bee-hotches. Here's an idea, you want to save money on packaging? Sell it bagged like the Oktober Guard set for those that like opening their stuff through HTS.

Nothing exciting around Leominster Joe-wise aside from snagging another Crimson Hiss at that Marshalls.
Leominster WM has at least 1 Movie Hawkeye still there. And at the TrU, ended up grabbing this for the goof alone:

Hey Fesifisky, you sure that's not a repack? Not sure why anyone would do it but Alfred is one per case while there are Batman x3 and Bane x2

I checked it multiple times before buying it and then again when I got it home. Here are the best pics I could get with my phone and at this time of night, but I can't find any signs of tampering outside the factory:
I love finding stuff like this. Last thing found was a Harmony Smurf(few years before the shitty movie) that was labeled inside the sealed package as Hefty Smurf.

Pretty cool! Yeah, I have no doubt that it's an error, I've seen it happen dozens of times, most recently on a legends-class transformer, a Captain America movie figure, and a Tron legacy figure. The coolest bonafide factory error I own is a POC wave 3 duke sealed on a wave 3 SS card. Interesting piece.

Also, snagged a Red Ninja, Blue Trooper, and an Avengers Black Widow at a TRU.
