Marshalls and TJMaxx in Bedford have Crimson Hiss tanks as well as those god-awful looking Sentinals.
Woburn TrU had a TON of Retaliation 3 packs, and 2 Crimson Hiss tanks and a Renegades trooper, nothing else really notable. Stinks, printer is broken and they won't take digital manufacturer coupons...oh well, maybe next time they'll still be there. Also, while not Joe related, had to share what I found at my local comic shop earlier:

Those look identical to the exo squad toys I had when I was a kid.

Indeed. Why did the regular release have to be so awful. I read my fair share of X-men books in the 80's and 90's and I don't remember Sentinels being that color.
Perhaps they would have sold better if the SDCC color scheme were the regular retail release. |

They are...kinda. They were made by Re:Play, a subdivision of Playmates who made the original Exo Squad toys. Couldn't get a good pic, but the back of the packages show exosquad figures in the repainted suits.

Anyone know when they'll put the Jinx up on HTS?

Absolutely agreed. When I first heard they were coming out, I imagined a '90's cartoon paintjob and we got that POS? For the size and original price, they surely could've put in some more articulation and/or neat features. Though now that they can be found cheaply, I'm thinking of modding one to make a Master Mold. Not anytime soon mind you, but still...

Probably mid next week. Con ends Sunday. Then they'll have to catalog all the unsold merch, I would start periodically checking by late day Tuesday. Because if you read that they are up on the Tank, they are already sold out by the time you log onto HTS.

It legitimately makes me sick that the figure-collecting hobby has come to this:
The Hasbro Line That Filled Seconds After The Doors Opened | Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors The convention doesn't even look like fun, just a stressful and overcrowded money-making pit. Would MUCH rather just spend the $50-$75 per figure on ebay (as I have the past 4 years) and be done with the whole mess.

I couldn't agree more Air-Tight.
I wonder how many of those folks flip that stuff right back on ebay. 75% of them? |
