Well its not Joe releated but its a project I started on... I've started binding my comics into hardcover collections. Found a couple of binderies that have perfected this for a really decent price.

I tried to sell but most of my comics aren't worth the cover price anymore, I've got long boxes stacked in random places all over my house, which need to be eliminated. I've stopped collecting new comics about 3 years ago, I enjoyed the stories I have, so I don't want to chuck them.

So far I've had 8 books bound, they look alot like encyclopedias, so my wife is cool with them displayed on the built ins next to the fireplace.

hey guys, Im trying to gauge interest in a toy hunting weekend/ hangout. just the people in the area getting together, hanging out, hunting for whatever the hell is left out there...the grabbing some grub and maybe customizing/ trading in a few hotel rooms.

That is an extremely facinating project. I've considered dumping my books at a comic shop and buying older stories in trade format. Primarily because it's more compact and displays better.

Do you have any more info you can share, either by PM or on the boards? How are they bound? How many comic can be bound together? What's the cost and turn around time? Is the place local?

Can you tell you've piqued my interest?
