.. Also, off-topic. I got rid of my SDCC Podium CC about a year or so ago. I don't really remember now if it was worth having, I have an opportunity to get another again for $30, what do you guys think? It's NOT the blue coat variant.

I still think the renegades trooper looks just like an updated Tele Viper.

Thats not a bad price for that figure. Right on target for what people are asking for it. Ebay's cheapest buy it now price is $35. right now. The variant is still around $80ish.

I'd definitely get him for $30 if I didn't already have both versions. He's a cool figure and his Price will probably only go up from here.

Got a question for anyone who is a club member or was once. I have never joined the club, so maybe someone could explain if I was to join how I would get that new Dice figure? Also, these club exclusives come loose or have there own package and art?

first you have to become a GIJoe club member. A one year membership is About $45.? This gets you a monthly magazine that is kind of meh, but also a yearly exclusive figure. This coming year is Footloose. You also get a discount on club store items.
After that you need to sign up for the subscription program. You receive 2 figures every other month for 6 months. Then you will get the free secret 13th figure. They are all carded. Unfortunately as of now the price per figure hasn't been revealed. Best guess estimates is the 12 figure set will be around $250-$300, I don't think shipping is included in that price. They did say a limited amount of individual figures will be sold on the club store but no one is sure how many. The club hasn't made any anouncements besides the 4 revealed figures. I'm sure I'm leaving something out that others can fill in, but this is pretty much the nuts and bolts of the sub. |

You've got most of it right except it's 2 figures a month every month for 6 months, not every other month. At least that's what I remember them saying during that panel at JoeCon.
In addition to that, the figures will be released on a card with 25th style artwork. The carded version of the exclusive Dial Tone sold at JoeCon for $25, with a pretty high mark up at the dealer tables and on eBay once the Club sold out of them. I would assume the subscription figures would sell for that same price. However, I'm hoping they'll be a little cheaper than that. If they sell for that price it'll be $300 for the whole set plus shipping. On a side note: A lot of people shit on the club and bitch about their prices and all that and say the membership isn't worth the $40. I disagree. The magazine leaves a little bit to be desired but I think the club does a great job with their exclusives and making hard to find retail stuff available to us. Not to mention that JoeCon is very well done and I think they do a hell of a job organizing that every year and keeping it interesting year after year. If I were you, I'd maybe try it for a year and see what you think. If you decide it's not for you, don't join next year. At least you'll get Footloose out of it.
