I owe MB a big thanks as he scored me a desert duel, I'm still on the hunt for the vanishing act set, went to TRU Okemos today and they had nothing left.

Westland TRU has three desert duels if that's your thing. Other than that just a Spirit/SS two pack.

Kalamazoo TRU had a new Skystriker/HISS set and a few of the Striker/Basilisk sets. I got one of each. There were more left. None of the two or three packs.

I had to paint that Basilisk black. The shiny blue was killing me. The candy orange of the HISS tank/driver/gunner really has me thinking I need to quit spending money on this stuff.

It's like a sad, expensive addiction. It's cheaper than most drugs, but with a lot fewer highs at this point.

How in the hell can any TRU say joes don't sell seeing as every dam post I see sounds the same.... went to said toys r us they had no 2-3 packs just a couple vehicles. What the hell TRU!!!!????

I'm gonna hit up Pontiac on my lunch today. I'll let you guys know. Still looking for a Gung-Ho pack. I'm getting very close to paying dealer rate for one.

Nothing but a few Desert Duel sets at Pontiac. They are doing some sort of reset in the action figure aisles though.

I called the Sterling Heights store to see if they had anything. 1) Help is usually surprisingly good there.
2) I'm sure the vehicles that have been there for 3 weeks are still there.
Anyway, after almost 5 minutes of someone looking, I was told, "No, Sir. We have True Heroes." Ha!

Has anyone gone to the Great Lakes Comic Expo before?

The next one is September 19th, and I wondered if it was worth the 1 & 1/2 hour drive. I am mainly looking to see what they have in the way of action figures. If it is mostly comics or just a tiny show, I may not bother.

Novi has 2 Spirit/SS, 2 Shipwreck/CC, and one SB/IG pack, as well as multiple vehicle packs.

I want to find a Marine Devastation pack to send to Wordburglar!

Found Gung Ho two pack Friday afternoon on the wrong aisle at Dearborn TRU. I was really looking forward to this two pack ,and the purchase was made even more special as it came from the TRU I got most of my RAH figures from in the 80s . Two of each of the other two packs were still there as of Friday afternoon.
