I've seen Joe cosplayers there before. As for the dealers, they usually have a fairly good selection of Joe product.

OK here are some answers MI joe bros
1. yes there is agood amount of Joe merchandise there, it isnt like joe con but it is the largest comic con in MI for the year and alot of dealers
2. yes very kid friendly with cosplay fans of all types, as well as celbrities and a bunch of toys and comics
3. you can bring cash as well as trade fodder, some dealers are happy to trade and barter.

Hope to see alot of you there, it doesnt look like the joebro lunch will happen but regardless it will be fun to meet some of you guys.

I am planning on selling at the Detroit show and will have some joe stuff. I have a FLAGG that is about 85% but I am not sure if I will be bringing that beast.

I just went to the Michigan Action Figure Expo. It was so sad, I felt bad thinking about asking for my money back. I wonder if I could claim that $5 on my taxes...

I drove a long way, because I saw it being hyped up in a few threads. Made it sound like it was going to be this event with lots of dealers. It was essentially one guy's inventory taking up a whole hotel convention room. Two other dealers had a couple tables each.

I ended up buying a few Joes because I felt like I had to get something for the over 2 hour trip I made to get there. I spent more on gas for the trip than on what I spent at the expo.

The best part for me was meeting two other figure collectors and chatting with them for a couple hours.
