If anyone is buying the Retaliation HISS tanks and don't want the Cobra Commander figures, I am looking to grab 1 or 2. I haven't had any luck finding the tank, and really, I don't even want the vehicle, just the figure.

NOTE: I also need a Dollar General Cobra Commander! Have yet to see any DG Joes in the stores.

Okay, so I mentioned this back in April or so. I'm curious to know who might be interested in a get together in the Walled Lake area (between Novi and Waterford)?

I am looking for a place to host a "custom" party. My church charges $70 (time, 4-5 hours, shouldn't be a problem). They charge to cover custodian/clean up/etc. I was also going to check in with our local hobby shop. It's small, but I thought they could benefit from a gathering of people who might want to have access to some model master acrylic paints. ;)

I figured I'd call the hobby shop tomorrow. If we went the church route, I figured I might ask for donations and/or hold a raffle for a few figures (found a lifeline and zombie viper the other day) to defray the costs.

So, thinking out loud. If we could nail down a date, would anyone be interested? I think it would be a lot of fun to work on customs, get to know fellow Tankers, and maybe even swap figures during a morning/afternoon/evening of fun. Even bring some food to pass. Thoughts?

Let me direct you guys to a NEW thread for Michiganders with a poll for times/dates. It would be in the metro Detroit area if I organize it, anyway...anyone else is free to jump in if they want and offer another location, I won't be offended. I'm in the Novi/Walled Lake/Waterford region. I'll put that up later today.
