Anyone ever notice, the michigan joe sighting thread is one of the most often updated state pages. At least it always seems to be the one showing up again on the side of the front page.

Well yeah - we want to buy stuff but can't because this state is at the end of the supply chain way more often then at the front or middle.
Add to that TRU, Target, and WalMart are the 3 main retailers and their ordering/stocking is so incredibly inconsistent in this area that you often have one side of the city with too much of an item that there is NO sign of on the other side. With Wave 3 you can see the availablity is there in Iowa, Oregon, Florida, Texas, even the Nation's Armpit - Ohio has received some stock. But Michigan? One sighting in Saginaw. How the F does Saginaw get stock but the rest of the state is baren? It drives most of us online to buy but we do try to help each other find what's available - unfortunately right now there's just a whole lot of nothing on the shelf and we're just scouting for the sake of scouting. |

Add to the list of states that have Wave 3 Indiana, Missouri, New Jersey, Kentucky, California, Maryland, and Arkansas.......... This is very frustrating indeed. A couple of my area Walmarts are pegged out with Wave 2 Renegades, like 30+ figures. I don't think we will see Wave 3 until some or most of the Wave 2 figures clear out first. |

Happy 400 pages Michiganders!
I made myself abstain from buying toys the whole month of November so I'm kinda out of the loop. Am I to understand no one here has seen any of the newer waves? Last edited by Beckley; 12-04-2011 at 12:29 PM.. |

But on the bright side, at least we still have the internets. I scored a MGS2 Fortune fig for 5 bucks. I can never find those things for under 40. Last edited by GI Guppy the third; 12-04-2011 at 02:27 AM.. |

Anyone collecting arah/80s, 25th,ME,ROC,POC,30th and Renegades? I myself collect them all. I like the variety all though I wish that Hasbro produced it more along the lines of StarWars and all of its various lines; you know how they have StarWars - Clone Wars, the retro style in the Packaging and then the newest stuff based on the movie plus all the ones they make exclusive.
In a way after watching what Hasbro does for StarWars it would kill me to collect Joes the way I do if hasbro produced them in the method they produce StarWars. Because Army building, MoSc & MISB plus variants, Loose and plus being a completist would really make the wallet empty after awhile. Anyways I was just curious who all in the Michigan area was collecting the other lines of Joes and if anyone else was still collecting Arah? Well I hope all you Michigan Joe Collectors have a great holiday season with friends and family. |
