Nothing today in Midland, but that doesn't mean that there won't be stuff tonight, I think the toy dept. manager is avoiding me to either not disappoint me, or because she doesn't want to answer the GI Joes question.

Oddly enough, the Midland Target, who had a ton of Order 66 and the Transformers exclusives, and a couple of the GI Joe ones on Tuesday, has had them mysteriously disappear. In Saginaw, they're back with the other toys, but in Midland... no checkout endcap, no toy isle, no clearance!

Not me. I went looking yesterday. Only thing I really found was a Wave 7 SE, some Wave 4 leftovers, 1 lone AWE Striker and quite a few CP's. I checked Wal-Mart (Woodhaven) and Target (Taylor & Woodhaven). It sucks. I hope they restock soon.

I checked those three places today...Nothing. I also checked Taylor walmart...Nothing.

I checked the North Walmart in Lansing (Lake Lansing Rd) twice today. In the morning it was basically devoid of Wave 7's, except for maybe one or SE, but at 4pm, they had restocked some of them. I saw at least 1 HISS driver, spirit, Duke w/ flag, Wild Bill and SE. No Vipers though.

mt. pleasant update.

Wal-mart must have gotten in a case of wave 7 thursday night, because i checked Wednesday night and they had peg warmers, but i checked tonight, Friday around 10pm and they had a Duke, and Hiss Tank driver left over, which i picked up. I would assume they got one case. This wal-mart usually only gets a total of two cases, and they arrive at different times. I fear I will have to watch much more closely if i want to get the rest of this wave because these went fast.

On another note they price matched me, I told them i thought Meijer had them for 5.99 and they gave me that price pretty easily. I haven't been to Meijer in over 3 weeks, but I gave the $1.80 I saved to the childrens charity bucket they had at the customer service counter.

I'm going to tear my hair out, seriously. I am sure (okay, maybe not..) that you know how close Midland is to Mt. Pleasant, and the fact that Mt. P has them, probably means Saginaw and Bay City have (had, by now) them too. But not Midland, of course. Then again, I've still never seen the Force Unleashed wave of Star Wars figures in Midland, either, so... ah well.

Anyway. Maybe the Wal-Mart in Midland is getting some, because there were two cases of "Toys and Games" Hasbro cases, there at 1am, and the toy dept. stocking guy wasn't around for me to ask... though I doubt it, because the GI Joe cases say "ACTION FIGURES" on them, and these didn't...

Edit: Went to Wal-Mart, Target in Midland, nothing. Wal-Mart and Target in Bay City also had nothing (well, Bay City had the Dark Knight Movie Masters figures, but I'd figure I'd wait, and just in case they turned me away at the register for their employees being too dumb to obey street date and not put them out before the 5th). But, the Pine Rd. Meijer is still as stocked as ever with '07 figures. I picked up a trio of Red Ninjas and a Stalker for someone, and left a Camo Storm Shadow and Zartan. They (might?) have put out a Snake Eyes w/ Timber, but if so, I missed him.

The few times i have gone to midland to look for joe items i wasn't impressed. I think a secret is to go to small towns with wal-mart adn targets in them because wal-mart i know gets atleast 2 cases of each wave, and herds of people aren't fighitng over them.

Un fortunitly people in MT. Pleasant are starting to be fans, puttinf me in the position of others not ebing able to find figures in there local retail outlets

Well, since Mt. P is so close to the tri-cities, I'll keep a lookout here for stuff, for you, too. The Meijer that I keep shouting the virtues of seems to keep the '07 stuff stocked pretty regularly, and the Wal-Mart in Midland has (had?) a decent selection. I plan on doing another big toy run to pretty much every store in the tri-cities, soon, too.
