I hated the Motor City Comic Con myself... door price is waaaaay too high for what it is. Not enough to do/too much buying to pay that much to enter. I'm used to conventions that you have more events/workshops/panels/etc. that are free/cheap if you have a good sized door fee... this one is just... ugh. You pay to see overpriced booths of stuff and some old B-movie/TV actors that want $20 an autograph.. nothing that impressive IMO.

I agree its waaaaaaaay to expensive to get in. I kinda like seeing all the B Movie stars and the washed up Playboy girls. I usually do pretty well at those, I'm good at talking prices down. Me and some friends will be going to the one in October though.

Yea.. old playboy girls do nothing for me. I'd go if SuicideGirls had a booth, but meh. If they had B-Movie stars I cared about I might consider it.. but paying for signatures is something I would do for very few people.

Scored a clear wraith today at Marshall's in Canton. Bent card but it was still my most exciting find in quite awhile. Anyone looking for the new Star Wars vintage figs, they were putting a couple cases out at Kmart plymouth earlier today.

If ANYONE looks for stuff in the Ann Arbor/South East Michigan area... please keep an eye out for the new AT-AT at Toys R Us, if anyone finds 2 in a store, PLEASE let me know ASAP... I can afford to get two for myself during this sale, and I have yet to find any.. if I can't find them during the sale.. I'm screwed. >.>

Anyways, got IG-88, Bossk, Aurra Sing and Leia in Boushh disguise in Toledo, OH today. Saw the fresh cases! Figures are now standing on my desk with my other hunters.
