Any who, I recommend a $400 two-way communicator alarm with a motion detector. Have the installer setup your alarm to sound the horn as well as the siren. Beyond that I wouldn't worry about it. IF they want what you have, they'll find a way to get it. You can only make your appear less attractive with deterrent systems. I'm just glad they didn't hurt you in order to get what they wanted!

I feel very lucky they didn't steal my Baby! glad I took out my Amp Box & Woofers or that would have been a good $2000 out the door.

CCW is under way... I have been putting it off for awhile now but I think now is as good of a time to get it.

dude you had your escalade stolen?!?!? OMG! i would freaking annihilate someone for that. hope the insurance covered you and sorry to hear about you guys getting your things stolen out your car, exspecially durring the christmas season, i swear i dont no whats rong with some people.

since having my theft issues, i constantly expect my car to be gone when i go to drive it...if i go to a store i come out EXPECTING it to be gone...thats sad right there...

ya know, the worst part wasn't having my car stolen (although that did obviously tramatize me)...no no...the worst part was having my ENTIRE CD collection in my car at the time...between 600 and 700 CDs...estimate of about $10,000 at an average of $14 a piece...they were worth more than the car they were in, literally...that hurt....to this day, i still get sad when i hear a song i used to have...worse yet, they found my car in Detroit, i listen to mostly very heavy rock/metal...i'm guessing the crooks that stole from me weren't into my type of music...they probably pawned them for $100...i would'a gladly given them $500 to keep them...so sad...and that my friends, is why i HATE thieves with every inch of my body....HATE HATE HATE!

Kids in my High School use to go "Car Hopping" as they called it. They would take phones and smash them then put them back in the cars...Little fuckers! they stole a book full of CDs once it ended up being a Chicks car full of chick music. So what did they do? drove on the freeway and threw them out one at a time. WHy? thank god one got busted in school with 1/2 Ounce of Skunk on him and to top it off he started to fight with the cops and ended up punching one officer in the face. they Dropped him of course. The other one actually ended up dieing in a Drunk driving Accident.

Hey DOC, obtaining a CCW is a serious decision and with it comes responsibility! I have one and realize that if I draw my weapon someone could lose his or her life. I rarely carry my firearm knowing that and avoid areas where I feel a need to carry. JUST give these criminals whatever they want willingly. Understand, the most valuable thing is you. It's the only thing that can't be replaced!

It's just a vehicle! I was SHOCKED but the experience helped me to keep things in perspective. AIG insurance covered everything but my $250 deductible. The first time it cost $25,000 to repair the second time only $12,000... must have been professionals?

Very true! A human life is nothing to take lightly and nothing is worth loosing your life over(excluding protection of loved once). I can only guess how many CCW holders end up being shoot with there own weapons! Due to inexperience and being unprepared/ unaware of your surroundings.

Something I take great time in weighing the Prose and Cons in...
