Went on a small run today.

Walmart @ Carolina Beach - CC singles, Destro/Breaker and SS/SE comic packs.

Kmart - no singles, WW, Twins, Scarlett comic packs. Legions and Joe 5 packs.

TRU - no singles, only one Twins comic pack, 1 Joe Ranking Officer and 3 Cobra Ranking Officer packs.

Nothing new today.

There is one in Pineville and Concord but yeah, the Charlotte TRU closed a year ago. The place was being raped by thug shoplifters. 4-5 shopping carts a day in pilferage stuff. This does not include the grab and run crap that they faced.

Wave 9 has hit Greensboro! (and is probably all gone already)

I stopped at Wendover Wally and found 1 Snow Serpent and a couple cases of Wave 7. So I ran to Elm/Eugene and found the whole wave! There was another collector there, who was kind enough to give me the Bat he had in his hand. In return I didn't ask for the Hawk he had. Boggied over to Cone only to find all the same figures that have been there forever, but there was a case of wave 7 on the pallet. Looks like everyone got a case or two of wave 7 and one case of wave 9.

I'm not getting Ninja Ku, so all I need is a Gen. Hawk and about 4 more Bats....maybe another Snow Serpent (I haven't decided yet)

So....what is it with all of these hard to find figures?? I still can't find several of them from the last 2 waves or so...Is it because they're THAT popular or is it scalpers???? WTF????

I think its a mixture of both. I went to walmart earlier today, found a couple of cases of wave 9 with the BATS and SnowSerpants removed.

Dammit.

Spotted two cases of Wave 9 at the MJ Walmart in Wilmington earlier tonight. Didn't pick any up for myself, but I doubt they're still there.

For the Wilmington guys, call or check the Leland WM today (Sat), or Sunday. They usually get stuff a day or two after the Wilmington stores get theirs.
