North Carolina G.I. Joe Sightings

Triangle Towne Center TRU has the new 50th packs. Naturally, someone already bought all of the 3-packs with the SAW Viper and all of the 2-packs with the zombies... (Although I don't care one bit about the zombies, I know someone on another board who wanted a set.) Highly annoying since there were 4 of the 3-pack containing Outback, Falcon, and whomever that third person is supposed to be. (It ain't Dr. Fumbles.)

Actually Eddie I wound up tracking down a case that came into Cary and haven't gotten around to telling anybody yet. Just before that, a friend from another board sent me a set too, so I'm good to go as far as zombies go.

Do you need a Cobra three-pack? Hit our mutual local board friend up. He might be able to seriously help you.

There must be a serious army builder afoot in Raleigh. All the Cobra sets keep disappearing!

If I catch that dirty rotten no good dude that calls himself a Joe fan, yet he purchases all the cobras for his own selfish self, I'm gonna give him a new code name: PublicEnemy#1!

It sucks for us true Joe fans left with goat scraps!!

I kicked that dirty goat in the shin and grabbed a Cobra 3 pack at the Cary TRU today!

Pretty good for a guy that doesn't even collect modern.

Cary TRU has a lot of the 50th 2-packs. They have tons of Duke/Whats-his-name, decent number of HD/Stiletto, a bunch of leftover Spirit 2 packs, and one SE/SS. Took me forever to find them. They're in the very back corner behind the video games...

Happy New Year folks! I just wanted to give a heads-up that there will be a toy show at the NC State Fairgrounds this weekend, 1/7 and 1/8. I'll be set up with my usual assortment of plastic goodness. Hopefully ya'll will brave the potentially snowy weather for some awesome toy shopping.

Hey all. Its hard to find the new joes in store or on the tru website. Anybody have any info if these will go on clearance at tru? And is anyone thinking about going to the toy show in charlotte in April?
