I found a Marine Devastation mixed in with a bunch of other $10 two packs at the Wilmington TRU. It looked like a possible return as it had tape on the package, but I didn't mind since I would open it anyway. All the accessories were there.

Funny thing. I found that set on Tuesday in Wilmington. Had it in my hand, but I've been considering selling my collection and decided to leave it for another collector. Glad someone found it.

At my last check the Fayetteville TRU still had a few 3 packs, Raleigh has several Storm Shadow/ Spirit 2 packs, Cary had several 3 packs, and Wilmington had just a couple 2 packs. I haven't been to Wilmington in a while though. Speaking of Wilmington, there is a place called The Roost at Monkey Junction that has lots of carded 25th figures including cobra troop builders such as troopers, eels, para-vipers, python crimson guards, ect. They have some totes of vintage figures and several vintage vehicles of various conditions. Prices are good too. Around 6 to 8 bucks for the 25th stuff and 3 for a vintage figure. Definitely worth a look. There is two stores inside of the Bragg Boulevard Flea market in Fayetteville that sales vintage and new figures, but their prices are way off and they know little about the product. They can be quite rude if you show them that you know more than them and question their prices, but they get in some nice stuff from time to time. There are several other places that I look when I'm in the area. If interested, PM me. Also, I'm interested in meeting any joe collectors local if anyone is willing.

Thanks for passing on it. I've wanted this set for a while and missed it it the stores. Gung Ho is my second favorite Character and I hated to spend $30-$40 online for it when I knew TRU was still selling the 2 packs for $10.
Also do you happen to work at the hospital?

Funny you mention The Pelican Roost. I went to visit them a couple of weeks ago and bought a para viper there. I had seen their ad on craigslist. Their prices are great.

Was wondering if anyone in the Wilmington area has been or will go to the wilmington comic and toy show at the moose lodge. There will be one on oct 1.

Hmmm...a bit of a drive for me, but at least I'm in the same state. I'll have to keep it in mind! Anyone familiar with the toy scene portion of this comic/toy show? Like is it Joe heavy or really can't tell...

Yo Joes!

Just a heads-up to the Raleigh/Triangle folks that there will be a toy show at the Fair Grounds this weekend (9/24-9/25). I will be set up as a dealer, and 3DJoes.com will also be in attendance if you need a Joe-themed book/poster fix. Saturday 9-4, and Sunday 10-4. Admission is five bucks and kids are free. It's a fun way to kill some time, and if the weather is good the flea market should also be open. Hope to see you out there!

Went by TRU in wilmington Friday about 230pm. No new stuff. Only had 2 CC, 2 SS, 1 croc and 1 IG pack each. These are reduced to $9.98. My understanding is they get their trucks on Tues and Fri

Wilmington just got the new joes in. They had 2 or 3 each of the three packs and 1 each of the two packs. I only had money for the stiletto pack today. Also Ollies still had three crimson strikes.
