Just left TRU in Cary.. they just got in a whole peg full of Low Lights and (red) Night Viper two packs. They also have an excess of Blow Torch two packs. That's all for now.

Oh, the paint job on the Low Light I looked at was terrible.. so make sure you check that if that's something that you care about. Per usual, they're putting out figures with less TLC than they used to.

People always seem to forget about that Durham store, but I hear that they're pretty good about getting stuff. I haven't had much luck in any of my visits with them though.

anyone been to the Durham stores lately? I almost went there today...if I could get in touch with anyone from my school in time (so I could get my key and move in) and then swing by Atomic Empire and that store on the way back.

Thanks for the heads up. I got a Low-Light/Night Viper pack which had passable paint apps, and then I got the least bad of the Blowtorch/HEAT Viper bunch. And let me tell ya, none of those were remotely good. I haven't opened yet, but the HEAT Viper looks like his leg halves are almost mismatched. WTF. Surely wish the store had had some of the other products out. I want a Wolf in a big way since I never had one as a kid.

Fayetteville TRU still has 4x blow/heat packs. Only 1x LL/NV and 1x vipers pit 3 pack.

I went by the Durham store. They had three or four of each of the two packs and two or three of both three packs. They also had three DatDs. I gotta admit, I didn't buy anything. This packing in nice new figs with multiples that have already been released kills it for me. And I hate that, cause I want to support the line.

Gray, all of them. I would have splurged on the brown one because I do want that Flint (Actually I'd take either and the Eel and zodiac, I just have no use for that VAMP).

Well now here's a rollercoaster report: I'm simultaneously thrilled, annoyed, and skeptical. I hit the TRU at Triangle Towne Center as soon as I was out of work today and found a single Wolf/Sky Hawk set which may have been deliberately stashed on an aisle away from where the other GI Joe stuff was supposed to be. (If so, sorry to whomever did this.) This was the one and only thing which I saw anywhere, and I was pretty thorough in checking around. When I went to check out, the cashier asked if I was able to find everything I was looking for. I very politely and jokingly said "no, but I'm still happy." She asked what else I was looking for, and I said that I might get some other GI Joes if I could find the new ones. It really wasn't a big deal to me until she said "oh yeah, someone was here this morning as soon as the store opened and they got them ALL." I was very doubtful that this was the case until she called another salesperson to see if they had any more, and he confirmed the same story and even went so far as to describe what was bought. The lady then said "yeah, I didn't know these were exclusives until I saw that guy and his friend buying up everything." I still slightly question the veracity of this story, but at least I got a Wolf...
